▪ Keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery
times, transport costs to achieve efficiency and
accountability.
▪ Liaise and negotiate with manufacturers, suppliers,
retailers and consumers.
▪ Local Inbound document checking and validation.
▪ Coordinate the movement of delivery vehicles and other
transportation assets on a daily basis.
▪ Ensure the appropriate use, maintenance and repair of all
light vehicles and trucks (private or leased), motorcycles.

▪ Keep updated document such as registration, insurance,
vehicle logs and daily inspection reports.
▪ Ensure sufficient supply of fuel and oil for dispatch driver.
▪ Manage fuel requests, fuel stocks (fuel farm or supplier
agreements) and spare parts inventories.
▪ Produce monthly fuel and vehicle use reports.
▪ Install and maintain the Vehicle Management System
(VMS); ensure that data is input regularly and that
required reports are produced.
▪ Follow up requests and/ or problems that customers may
experience.
▪ Keep ongoing records for key account customer shipment
status.
▪ Resolve complaints and disputes with relevant
customers.
▪ Pro-active in resolving issues and problems before they
occur.
▪ Establish and document clear guidelines on the level of
service that each customer requires.
▪ Ensure that relevant customers are kept satisfied.
▪ Resolve customs clearance issues in a timely manner in
coordination with the customer.
▪ Extract and issue specific reports related to the Logistics
Activities. Ensure that the customer service complaint
system is in place.
