Conduct routine site safety walkthroughs
• Monitor the installation of a communication shelter at early works construction site
• Follow up with main contractor, subcontractor, and supplier to ensure material delivery
• Participate in meetings with contractors to tackle any project related issues
• Help with the review of project safety management system (SMS)
• Assigned for a department journey management coordinator to help locate Saudi Aramco employees in case of
an emergency through the AVL system
• Review and study project drawings for FOC, cable laying, and construction
• Maintain a record of construction progress and material delivery to be shared with manager
• Conduct SBOI and focused inspections

Provide advice and consultation to department staff (maintenance, operation and contractors…etc.) to maintain safe working environment in compliance with environmental, safety regulations, standards, GIs, procedures and practices.

Conduct and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices and analyze injury, incident, property damage and work with management to prepare comprehensive recommendations.

Develop safety procedures such as Task Risk Assessments or Job Safety Analysis for the area as needed and monitor department safety KPI & performance and place required actions to enhance.

Prepare Safe Management Committee meetings, safety orientations training, awareness and job site inspection procedures.

Review the department Safety Management Systems (SMS) and improve it as needed. In addition, review new projects design packages to ensure compliance to the safety requirements.

Manage and coordinate offshore emergency preparedness plans, drills and exercises, assess and report performance. Provide emergency team support, leadership and training and participate as required.

To provide OH&S advice/guidance/coaching to the area team using different approaches (direct and support them to implement and comply with all OH&S
requirements in a sustainable manner).

To assist the Area OH&S Manager in the development, implementation and monitoring of the OH&S policies and procedures.

Complete regular checks and inspections and prepare related reports.

Conduct behavioral safety observations and provide support to develop BS program.

Co-ordinate the implementation or conduct OH&S trainings as identified by OH&S manager.

Generate drivers’ behavior evaluation reports and communicate and follow up in timely manner.

Monitor compliance on the shop floor of the PPEs, KSBs, and SWPs and ensure addressing the immediate required actions to correct situation and escalate when/if
needed.

Update safety logs/registers and file and control of all safety records.

Check and update all OH&S communication means (monitors, Near Miss (NM) boards, signs, boards…etc.) and report/fix any in-correct situation (damage, outdate,
missing form…. etc.).

Active participation in the risk assessments, accident investigations, communication, planning, Reward and Recognition (R&R), Emergency Preparedness and Response

Plan (EPRP), monitoring, inspections and audits as assigned by the OH&S MS or the OH&S Manager.

Follow up with other departments to ensure OH&S reports are done in due time including NM reports.

Follow up with all other departments on the completion of Corrective/Preventive Actions (C/PA) completion and provide support where necessary.

Recognize and embrace positive behaviors and practices.

Any other actions or responsibilities assigned by the direct manager that is in line and supports the job main purpose.

Perform ergonomic assessments of workstations and tasks

▪ Perform worksite audits, inspections and evaluations on the operating floor

▪ Perform documented safety audits to ensure implemented precautions are being followed

▪ Developing, implementing and evaluating programs and procedures to ensure personnel and facility health and safety

▪ Developing, suggesting and conducting employee health and safety training

▪ Perform program reviews of current policies and procedures to ensure that they meet the most
current regulatory and consensus standards


▪ Evaluating and approving material and equipment requisition, new and modified processes and non-routine work


▪ Knowledge of SAP system, creating PR, SES, Item code, material management, etc
