 Managing the Materials Management department with Prime Contractor over sight of vendor qualification and supply, materials traceability and verification, transportation and heavy lifting, materials and equipment protection, assembly of materials and equipment.

 Encourage team work and partnership with the Prime Contractor while upholding the Prime Contractors’ commitment to safety and quality
 Plan the Material Department annual budget and goals
 Review staff work outputs to ensure that all applicable internal and external policies and procedures are followed and that the quality meets Project QA policy.
 Hire, train and develop department personnel; broaden employee’s planning knowledge, skills and abilities. Provide leadership and motivation to department staff, identifies training requirements and supervises employee performance of

 Managing contractor relationships, participating in contract issue resolutions, developing strategies for resolution of claims, and leading negotiations on contract administration issues
 Reports on Prime contractor material management activities and verifies Prime Contractor contractual scheduled deliveries and obligations are met.

 Work with the Engineering department to finalize the project equipment specification and requirement and make sure that this is following the FANAR regulation and standards.
 Ensuring thorough documentation and proper approval of selected Suppliers strategies.
 Development and negotiation of contracts for engineering, fabrication, equipment and material supply, and construction and hook-up services, in accordance with the selected and approved execution plan.
 Overseeing tender processes, tenderers’ site visits and inspections, and evaluating tender submissions and/or request for proposals.
 Make sure that the quantities requested for the project is the correct as per the design and all procurement process is correct.
 Attend All Kick-off meetings for the nuclear power plant project equipment.
 Follow up with the manufacturing monthly report and audit some manufacturing to check the equipment status and the line of production.
 Verify the project payment for the suppliers.
 Study and escort the movement of some project equipment from the manufacturer to the project site as well as make sure that all the logistics and requirement are clear.
 Ensure high level of optimization in assets maintenance at the projects site warehouse until construction request the equipment (using MAC).
 Follow up the status of the plant spare parts and handing over to the operation team.
 Managing the Material Department for one month in 2010 due to the leave of the department manager for training.

 Managing over 12 projects during my work with total cost of 650 Million Dhs.
 Managing the Power Projects Department for two months in 2009 due to absents of the department manager for his family medical escorting.
 Worked with the asset department for any new projects and review projects scope with checking the duration of projects as well as the approvals from Abu Dhabi Municipality.
 Issue projects charters and assigns the project team.
 Finalize the technical and commercial bid evaluation.
 Arrange the kick-off meeting for the projects.
 Interview and approve the contractor project manager and project schedule.
 Verify the monthly payment for the contractors for the projects.
 Approve the work method of statement and inspect the project site regularly.
 Close out the finished project and issue the Preliminary Acceptance Certificate (PAC) until the maintenance period pass then issue the Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC)

 Review residential project electrical design.
 Help in following with the AADC to collect the requirement from the owners as well as from Al Ain Municipality.
 Review with owners any changes in the design and make new drawings using AUTOCAD.
 Follow with the contractors in each site for the work progress.
 Sending recommendation for the management for the contractor approve list.
