• Perform and lead well control drills to assure rig crew well control readiness.
• Support HSE team with inspections, audits, incident reporting and closing actions.
• Always monitored the well condition (i.e., depth, mud weight, weight on bit).
• Performed technical calculations required to perform drilling operations.
• Performed drilling related operations such as directional drilling, running and cementing casing strings,
fishing, assisting in wireline logging, well testing, and other special operations.
• Supervised and directed operations in the picking up or laying down of tubular and all drilling related
equipment.
• Maintained accurate record of tubular and tool dimensions (i.e., internal, and external diameter, fish
neck, and serial numbers).
• Ensured the solid control equipment and mud mixing operations are monitored.
• Informed Tool pusher and Client Representative if a deviation from planned operation occurs.
• Completed daily drilling report at the end of each tour.
• Held pre-job meeting with the drilling crew for all non-routine drilling operations.
• Secured well during an emergency or well control situation (i.e., assist in the well killing operations)
Evaluation of Inspection Techniques for Optimising Pipeline Cleaning before Decommissioning
•Developed a flowchart to select suitable inspection techniques for subsea pipelines.
•Recommended research into the amount, in volume, of deposits in decommissioned subsea pipelines that is safe for the marine environment.
•Proposed a new regulation for pipeline decommissioning where a defined volume of deposits per km of pipeline is required to be met before decommissioning.
•Participated in several drop directional well survey operations.
•Performed two (2) drop directional well survey operations for SEEPCO as team lead.
•Participated in several wireline system integration tests for directional well survey.
•Attained 80% client satisfactory rating in the well survey operations against the 70% average.
•Deployed of drilling tools to client rig site (e.g. ExxonMobil's Erha, Total's Egina projects, etc.).
•Ensured proper maintenance and tracking of drilling tools (Including Inspection and Repair).
•Completed Baker Hughes essential safety modules (PPE, HSE observation and awareness, etc.).
•Developed a tool tracking spreadsheet for the company.
