Structural Engineer. STC - New Infra Data Centre Project.
This project has 3 sites (Jeddah, Madinah & Riyadh)
As technical office Structural Engineer, our office has all site control from Riyadh.
My responsibilities are
- To check sub-contractor design safety, design criteria.
- Coordinate other trades.
- Design and detailing of project foundations.
- Design of project trenches, culverts, concrete pads for chillers and buffer tanks.
- Design of Tanks.

King Faisal Specialist Hospital (Repair Works)
In the project service tunnels, a 2years old slab of thickness 1100mm did deflect
and cracks show up.
Hence, our team started to study the existing structure and the as-built to provide proper repair/mitigation solutions.
My role is
- Study the existing design model.
- Study the existing structure as built, drawings, reinforcements.
- Study and create proposal to support existing structure.
- Provide detailing of structural proposal.

Structural Engineer. TBC-Schools project (44 Schools Riyadh)
The project is a composite Precast supper structure & cast-in-site sub-structure.
As structure engineer I did:
- Design of different structural frames, including Building foundations, Elevator shaft, Steel tents, Cantilever floor
slab, Boundary fence, Curtain wall hanging on cantilever slab, …, and various site cases due to increase number
of schools hence, different case at each site.
- Being able to use several design software’s made me able to design different structures.
- Checking the precast design and confirm design criteria.
- Structural detailing (Making shop drawings).
- Coordination with Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, Surveying and Planning departments.
- Coordination with precast factories to get and provide details of work.
- Providing solutions to site engineers in construction failures and to close NCR’s by consultant.
- Study of materials to satisfy project requirements of strength, durability, fire resistance, …etc.

Structural Engineer. Justice Palace Project. (Riyadh)
This project is an expansion the existing Justice Palace in Riyadh (Dirah)
One of it’s gates designed to be demolished and services built in place.
The new structure is composite of steel structure and cast-in-site concrete structure.
As structure engineer had the responsibility of
- Design of cast-in-site concrete frame and foundations.
- Design of Steel frame and steel connections.
- Design and solve the connections between the concrete and steel frames.
- Study the existing concrete as the project include demolition and execution over existing concrete
- Preparation of shop drawings.

I did the structural frame works for housing project which had more than 200 villas
worked in the first stages completing 16 villas’ till first floor including coordination
with mechanical and electrical works.

King Abdullah Project for the Development of Security Centres - Phase 1 (KAP1)
Our Establishment was subcontractor for all works of
Site No.23 (Patrol Dispatch Administration)
consist of 2 story 2400m² ground area building and 1 story storage building of 1800m² with Fence,
Water and Sewage tanks.
My position was to control materials consumption at site and works progress to schedule.
Provide subcontractors when required.
- Studied the project B.O.Q. and avoided item lose through variation orders and subcontract price reduction.
- Learned to control works progress flow, that is when subcontractor come to site works must not stop.
- Completed the project till invoices release from main contractor, as we didn't have Q.S. engineer had to follow
invoices release.
