As manager administration I am responsible to manage, administer and maintain complete administrative discipline and function not only in the in Head Office but also at the project sites (all over Pakistan). My responsibilities include.
a. Maintain administrative discipline at Head Office and ensure implementation of administrative SOP’s.
b. Monitor daily and monthly attendance at Head Office and ensure proper maintenance of leave record in system as per company policy.
c. Manage operational security matters, Implementation of control procedure on security and handling of visitors.
d. Oversee and manage accommodation at head office and sites as per Company policy.
e. To ensure proper arrangements are made for local / overseas travels.
f. Maintain / updated company transport fleet.
g. Liaison with Govt and non-Govt agencies, for the smooth functioning of the company business.
h. Taking the ownership of company “QHSE Policy” I am responsible to create a safe working environment, manage risks, reduce exposure to hazardous liability and ensure implementation of QHSE policy.
i. Ensure the swift implementation of Admin, HSE, HR policies in the preview of administrative and general company affairs.
As Head of the Procurement Department, I am responsible to take steps that improve efficiency, reduce operating costs whilst increasing performance within the allocated budget. Committed to identifying and implementing continuous improvements in the supply chain. My Responsibilities include:-
a. Ensure smooth functioning through interaction, coordination and liaison with other departments and agencies.
b. Develop new policies and procedures regarding procurement processes.
c. Conduct market analysis to acquiring goods and services at favourable prices.
d. Acquired a negotiated discount of over 7.7 Million in the process of procurement during the year 2017 for the Company.
As Deputy Manager-Security I was responsible for the overall security of the Marketing Group. Ensured safety of personnel and material by adopting all possible proactive measures. Major duties performed, included:-
a. Implementation of security instructions / orders as per the company policy.
b. Regularized the duties / discipline and administration of all security personnel’s.
c. Coordinated the duties / discipline of security guards hired from security agency.
d. Effectively managed and monitored the CCTV network installed in the facility.
e. Effectively managed/monitored the firefighting equipment and conducted live practices.
f. Conducted surprise checks/inspections for safety of building and company assets.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and General Manager, I was responsible for the day to day management of all HR functions for over 800 employees in 25 different locations spread over different cities.
a. Carried out evaluation of the organization, job roles / functions and constituted a proper organizational structure for the company.
b. Established proper “HR Department” for the Company from scratch in Oct 2011.
c. Hired over 1200 personnel in multiple disciplines for the new branches at ‘Mezban Stores’ at a very short notice. (Nine months).
d. Assisted / advised management, with recruitment of full time personnel, by Preparing, compiling and arranging job advertisements, finalizing contracts and appointment letters apart from advising the candidates.
e. Designed compensation and benefits structure on the basis of job evaluation and devised new compensation and grading structure.
f. Provided support for contract negotiations, and outsourced the janitorial and security services and monitored their operations continuously.
g. Conducted training need assessment and trained 500 plus employees before assigning them to their job responsibilities.
a. Management of Operational as well as Administrative Movement of Personnel and Stores by Air, Land (Road and Rail) and by Sea.
b. Rehabilitation Operations for the displaced persons in Northern and Western Parts of the Country.
c. Management of personnel and the security needs of the logistic installations spread over the length and breadth of the country.
d. Planned and conducted high level foreign Military Delegations visits to Pakistan logistic bases.
e. Operational Logistics of the Pakistan Army.
f. Logistics of the Pakistan Armed Forces deployed on Anti Terrorist Operations.
a. Management of a 4000 strong military contingent comprising various countries to its optimum operational readiness.
b. Successful implementation of the Logistics functions and maintenance of the Multi National Force in the Sector in particular and UNMIL in general.
c. Other Important Duties performed include:-
(1) Formulating Standard Operating Procedures.
(2) Managing logistics operations, including, materiel and personnel.
(3) Ensuring Human Resource Management of multi national peacekeepers.
a. Handled the Operational Logistics of Pakistan Army.
b. Played a key role in finalization, implementation and monitoring of ‘New Logistics System’ for the Armed Forces.
c. In the field of movement management formulated comprehensive / financially viable movement plans that facilitated timely movement of troops and stores.
d. Looked after the complete Logistics of the Pakistan Armed Forces deployed on UN Missions abroad.
e. Effectively conducted the operational as well as administrative movement of personnel and stores by Air, Land (Road and Rail) and by Sea.
During the Relief Operation of Earthquake 2005, was assigned the responsibility to plan, organize and conduct the operations of foreign / local aid at Relief Centre established at Pakistan Air Force Base Chaklala, and managed this complex and intricate task in most effective and professional manner.
a. Participated in six nations Joint Regional Cooperation Exercise 2006 (RC06) in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic from 14 to 26 July 2006, conducted on Crisis Management.
b. Represented the Pakistani contingent as crisis management officer along with US, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan as other stake holders.
c. The exercise was conducted by US CENTCOM In collaboration with the member states.
