Steel fabrication company
The primary role was to initiate a steel fabrication company and build a
network of customers. The major challenge was to initiate the company in
a very competitive market and to build a network of clients from scratch. I
have succeeded in doing so, in a period of economic recession due to
sharp drop in oil prices.

Project Manager at Om Alqora Cement Company

The primary role was Establishing the technical project team, preparing
technical tender, hiring the consultants and getting three international
specialized company competition ending with signing contract within
12months.
The major challenge was to comply within the specified time as this was
the precondition for granting the license to build the plant from the
Ministry of Investment and Industry. The project was successfully
implemented in a record time of 8 months. The plant is now up and
running perfectly and in high efficiency.

The role was revolving around evolving and implementing a technical
strategy to support the overall operations of the plant. Leading the
development and implementation of rigorous systems for consistent
product quality, stable production processes, efficiency and reduction of
costs.
Production capacity has been raised to 10% in the first stage and to 15%
in the second stage, although the production line has been working with
fixed production capacity over 15 years.
Establishing a planning section for maintenance that maintaining liaison
between Operations and Maintenance, the section is responsible for
planning, scheduling, and coordination of all plannable maintenance work
performed within the plant. Establishing a maintenance call center for
maintenance, staffed by professional agents and used as a single point of
contact for all plant maintenance requests. This step had an immediate
impact on raising the level of response to avoid malfunctions.

Maintenance Manager at Arabian Yemen Cement Company ltd

The primary mission was assigned by a Saudi investor was to set up a
cement factory from scratch in Yemen. Contracting with establishing
companies and operating the plant.
I managed with a team of mechanical, electrical, PLC, control, civil,
instrumentation and geological engineers, in addition to the staff of
financial, accounting, and administrative management.
It is worth mentioning, the unique construction of the plant on which it
was built by Chinese companies, while core Equipment’s and Major plant
components are Europeans. This configuration and selection have led to
high efficiency in the plant operation, and far lower the cost of investment,
compared to other projects in the same period in the same area.
