* Passage Post (PP)
* Traction Power Sub-Station (TPS)
* Lighting Power Sub-Station (LPS)
* Third Rail and disconnectors
* Depot Stinger System (750V DC)
* 110/33KV GIS Sub-Station
* 132/33/25KV Receiving Sub-Station
 Traction power sub-station consists of 33KV AIS/GIS Insulated switchgear, 33/0.59KV rectifier transformer,
Rectifier unit, Two-pole disconnectors, High speed circuit breakers, Breaking resistor unit, Over voltage
protection device, Logic and relay panel, UPS, Battery charger.
 Lighting power sub-station consists of 33KV GIS switchgear, 33/0.4KV dry type auxiliary transformer, Low
voltage cubicle, UPS, Battery charger and OVPD(Over Voltage Protection Device).
 Third rail installation consists of Bracket support, Conductor rail, Mid-point anchoring, Cut bolts,
 Expansion joint, Cable terminals, Ramps and Disconnector switches.
 Inspections for the construction activities in depot 750V Dc stinger system and Passage posts (PP) feeding
from Grid sub-station.
 Responsible for validating daily inspection reports of Power supply and traction for Site survey, Material
inspection, Installation, Functional Testing and Commissioning.
 Responsible for design review and getting approval of design deliverables and reply to comments.
 Coordination with different Sub-Contractors to achieve the target with in stipulated time.
* Working as a part of a team of RMTC’s (PMCM Consortium) System Construction Team to ensure the adherence of the
project to client requirement as well as preset quality standards with regard to installation, inspection and testing and
commissioning of power supply system and its sub-system equipment/works.
* Ensuring all actions is performed according to the guidelines and regulations of the project (shop drawings, method
statements, etc.).
* Monitoring and conducting inspection of all contractor site installations for MV/LV power supply system
i.e., containment, cables, power equipment, earthing system, interfaces power of depot
equipment/signaling/telecom/wayside, etc.)
* Monitoring and Conducting Inspection of all contractor site installations for traction works (i.e. Conductor rails,
earthing and bonding of running rail, etc.).
* Reporting to System Engineer any non-conformity works done by the contractor. Attending any testing and
commissioning works requested by the contractor as per the approved standard and procedures.
* Assisting to identify the site technical issues during the installation, testing and commissioning of the power supply
system. Ensuring the site safety procedures during the installation of power supply system works. Preparing
inspector’s daily and/or weekly reports.
* Attending the weekly/ Monthly meeting with the Contractor as required by the Resident Engineer or Power Supply
Senior Engineer for the review of site activities.
