WORK ORDER #04: PROVISION OF HIGH LEVEL TRIP ON TANK OVERFILL (66 TANKS)
Inspecting working condition for each Trip Level Switch and shut off MOV, physically including the functional check.
Performing Loop checking for each Trip Level switch with PLC/DCS.
Checking the trip level Set point for level HH in respect to each tank against the trip list else recommend appropriate Setpoint.
Checking High level Pre-trip and post-trip soft alarms from available level Indications, common high-level trip alarm (Hardwired at available or not), Power failure alarm (for the overfill loop), Position feedback from the actuators, to available in PLC/DCS, Discrepancy alarm (command and position feedback mismatch after a time delay) for MOVs, cable availability and requirement for existing MOV modifications and new actuators, Instrument and electrical cable routes, DCS Modifications requirement along with DCS vendor.
Study and recommend suitable motorized actuator for Hand Valves.
WORK ORDER #08: REHABLITATION OF SHUBIA OIL PIER (CATHODIC PROTECTION)
Supply & Installation of Cathodic Protection System at Shuaiba Oil Pier.
Cathodic Protection system survey on existing CP system & submission of report for client review and acceptance.
Preparation of Design & Detailed Engineering report.
Submission of Materials Data Sheets (MDS) and Method Statement procedures for client approval.
Testing and Commissioning of Cathodic Protection system.
Preparation and submission of commissioning reports, as-built drawings, monitoring, and maintenance procedure.
INSTALLATION OF PIG RECIEVER AND PIG LAUNCHER PROJECT,
VSD REPLACEMENT PROJECT. .
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Leading a team of 1 fabricator, 2 instrument technicians, and a safety officer.
•Involved in replacing variable speed drive of motors and installation of new pig launcher and receiver units, instruments, stations, cables (electrical and Instrument), PLC and Commissioning.
•Designed and supervised fabrication of supports required for the erection of field instruments
•Supervised Meggering, Laying Cables, Glanding, Termination, and Loop checking.
•Calibration, testing, and erection of field instruments.
•Planning and implementing additional control loops as per site requirements.
•Project planning, manpower allocation, material manifest, preparing Daily progress reports, work permits (hot and cold), complete project management, and establishing good and effective communication with client and base
TERMINAL AUTOMATION SYSTEMS .
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Leading a team of 5 fabricators and 4 instrument technicians.
•Terminal automation systems involved gantry automation, tank farm management automation, control room and entry exit subsystem.
•Involved in the shutdown of TLF gantry and Erection, Installation and Commissioning of same.
•Installation of Explosion Proof batch controller (Smart Load), Smart Ground Detector Earthing Relay, Overspill and Arm Position, Proximity card Reader and Remote Interacting Terminal.
•Installation of Tank gauges, temperature sensors, tank side indicators, water bottom sensors (Emerson Rosemount), ESD, Hooter, communication interface units and tank farm software for tank farm management. Installation of proving tank (5kl, 2kl)
•Designed and supervised fabrication of supports required for erection of field instruments (measuring instruments, control instruments, junction boxes, cable trays…).
•Installation of Load Rack computers (LRC), operator-interface computers (OIC), printers, networking components, programmable logic controllers (PLC GE-Fanuc 90 series), uninterruptible power supplies, panels, consoles and related systems.
•For controlling vehicle entry and exit at the facility various components such as barrier gates, card readers, vehicle sensors, and other related accessories were installed at site.
•Supervised making of Electrical Earthing Pits and Laying Cables (in both trench and tray), Glanding, Termination, and Loop checking at both ends of the cables.
•Planning and implementing additional control loops as per site requirements
Calibration and Maintenance of various electronic and pneumatic instruments like;
•Pressure, Level and Temperature gauges (Emerson Rosemount, ABB).
•pH analyzer and controllers.
•Control valves of various types (Fisher, Flowserve).
•Pressure, flow, level and temperature transmitters.
•DCS and PLC.
•Loop checking
Maintenance and calibration of transmitters PT, LT, TT, DPT (Emerson Rosemount, ABB)
• Open loop & Closed loop Checking
• Calibration and Maintenance of Control valves (Fisher, Flowserve, Masonelian, Koso)
• Installation, Removal & Replacement of field instruments.
• Meggering and Commissioning of various projects.
• Shutdown works.
