• Prepare the English and Arabic Financial Statements which includes balance sheet and other annual statements supported by necessary analysis and tables.
• In charge to prepare Overall Analytical Review (OAR) for the analysis purpose to the General Manager of FCPD.
• In charge to present the financial statement to the General Manager of FCPD and then to the Audit Committee and BOD for review, comment and approval.
• Prepares actual vs. budget to present to the General Manager of FCPD.
• Ensures that the financial statement and other disclosures in the same lines as per CBK guidelines and also, to know if we have some more disclosures to be done as per the disclosure policy of the bank.
• Pillar III Disclosures - Wording -Casting -Matching with financial statement Arabic & English( HR -RISK…etc ) for June and December financial statement.
• For the annual procedures, after the CMA approval of the financial statement, deal with the Corporate Support Department (admin) for the AGM preparation and get the approval from the ministry of commerce to set the AGM meeting date.
• Involved in several projects
- Involved in establishing new systems for the FCP department.
- Involved in LCR preparation with the risk department.
- Involved with the Economics Research & Translation Department, Board Of Directors Affairs Management Department for preparation of the Annual Report.
• Participate in auditing of large business, services, and manufacturing companies.
• Perform audit planning as well as substantive audit procedures and analytical reviews.
• Review and finalization of financial statements of clients in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS).
• Understanding business structure and operation of audit engagements.
• Tracking of Audit issues to resolution.
• Identify significant issues.
• Experienced in Islamic Real Estate products throughout understands the procedures and policies in Islamic bank.
• Ensuring completion of assignments within allocated time and cost parameters.
• Major Severed audit clients:-
- Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), Kuwait Finance House (KFH), Abyaar Real Estate Development Co, Kuwait China Investment Co, Amar Leasing and Finance Co, Agility, Salhiya Real Estate Co, Public Institution For Social Security (PIFSS), Injazat Real Estate Co, Kuwait Oil Tanker Co (KOTC), Refreshment Trading Co (COCA COLA), United Real Estate Co, Alfa Energy Co, Equipment Holding Co and other small funds.
• Involved in several projects:-
- In charged on agreed upon procedures engagement assigned by Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) during 2007 related to the regulations for granting consumer and installment financing facilities.
- In charged on agreed upon procedures engagement assigned by Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) in 2008 related to the consolidated credit returns for regular and irregular finance facilities of specific provision based on CBK regulations for outside subsidiaries.
- Represented ERNST & YOUNG on behalf of the Managing Partner for attend the Assembly General Meetings (AGM).
- Diploma degree of Fundamentals of Islamic Financial Transactions from CAMBRIDGE Training College Britain held in Kuwait - Training courses within EY around 43 courses since April 2006 till March 2014 ( upon request).
