Abdullah Al Shukaili

I am actively involved in multiple projects under the Mutrah Waterfront Development at Sultan Qaboos
Port, contributing to the planning, coordination, and execution of key development initiatives within the
tourism sector. My role includes working on site activation project to enhance visitor experience as a
modern playground, project holder of an urgent repair works at Port Sultan Qaboos entrance for the official
visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, and overseeing the demolition of warehouses and old
buildings as part of preparing the area for new developments.

I supervised the Wadi Up Where Festival project in Wadi Al Khoudh from conception to completion in the
Adventure Area, working as an architecture engineer in the tourism sector. My responsibilities included
overseeing the design, ensuring architectural feasibility, following the construction, and coordinating with
various teams to bring the project to life, ensuring the festivals readiness and alignment with the centers
vision for adventure tourism.

I was responsible for driving promotional campaigns and managing social media outreach. My strategic
planning and creativity enhanced the centers visibility and attracted adventure enthusiasts. I also designed
the logo for Irfan Viewpoint and initiated several campaigns for various projects, improving the centers
online presence and engagement.

During my training at the Oman Aquarium, I gained practical experience in maintaining and operating
aquarium infrastructure. I assisted in supporting engineering projects, ensuring system functionality, and
contributing to the efficient management of the aquariums technical needs.

My training covered various tourism sectors including cultural, nature, adventure, coastal, ecotourism,
wellness, and religious tourism. This experience provided me with a broad understanding of Omans
diverse attractions and industry practices, equipping me with valuable insights into the tourism sector.
