Designing LAN and WAN network based on a service requirements narrative “small to medium network” including firewall, database and other components. Some Service that implemented over this project are A- installing and configuring a DHCP and a DNS server to deliver IP addresses and name resolution for client machines B- set-up firewall on servers to block access to all unauthorised and unnecessary services, where a user group and share drives, and also packet filter firewall software on servers that will allow access only to required services are implemented. C- installing and configuring a simple Web Server on the designed network. 2- Designing and Modelling a Wired and Wireless WAN network Performance Modelling of AUT university Wellesley Campus Gigabit Ethernet Backbone Network with Wireless Extension using OPNET-based simulation and modelling (for such a project), containing major subnets (Five subnets) with wired/Wireless workstations/clients (FTP clients, Web clients, VoIP and other services). Comparative analysis of the result of all services running on the designed network where the result makes a meaningful conclusion. 3- Analysing a process model to document the steps that incident management and problem management need to take to fix the problem and to achieve the process goals of business continuity. 4- Designing and building storage structures, considering security and performance of the system where stored procedures and triggers for the business are considered and implemented. Including the identification of the best methods for structuring the data and writing the query “Optimising Query. 5-Designing and developing a supreme court of New Zealand searchable database/website “final year group project”
