Job description:
• Managing all the finance departments - 15 employees (Payables - Receivables-Budgeting & Strategic Planning - Credits & Collection), and acknowledging all the department duties.
• Doing all the functions/decisions of a Finance manager, from preparing the financial statements along with the analytical reports to managing all the projects related to the finance dept.
• Managing the Credit Department by holding weekly meeting with all salespersons and their managers and supervisors to acknowledge the issues related to the collections from customers. Coordinating the action plans between the credit team, sales team, and the customers. Traveling around the kingdom for resolving collections issues.
• Create the budget and forecasting the expected Sales, expenses, purchases, net income and all other items related to the upcoming year budget. Holding meetings with all departments’ managers and discuss the budget details for each depts. Also, making the adjusted budget if any changes require during the year after giving the justifications to the higher management and then getting the official approval. Holding monthly meeting with each dept. manager in regard with the achievement comparing with the budget.
• Making the strategic analysis management reports regarding the capital budgeting for future investments and utilizing KPIs like IRR, NPV, PV, FV, WACC, ect.
• Closing the year, working along with the external auditor PWC (Financial & Tax teams) which involve providing all correct GL figures with the supportive documents and justifications.
• Managing Year End Inventory Count, Financial Analysis reporting, holding managers meeting, Policies & procedures making and updating, Costing and Profits margin advisor, monthly, quarterly, semiyearly, and yearly closing and reporting, making any analysis reports and researching base on higher management requests.
• Reviewing all accounts closing, accounts auditing, doing the data analysis preparing the financial statements, making analytical reports and reporting to the higher management, and taking decisions
Projects In RAK:
1. Working with External Auditor PWC and closing the year of 2012 and going to close 2013.
2. Making the budget for 2013 & 2014.
3. Handling stock counts 2012 & 2013 (4 times).
4. Interviewing, hiring, & training the (Receivable accountants, Payable Accounts, Assets accountant, Receivable controller, and Cashiers).
5. Opening Credit Department.
6. Updating (commissions, incentives, returns, documents cycle) polices.
