Overall Responsibilities Handled:
• Directed, monitored and coordinated sectional processes, evaluations and plans, to guarantee standard running conditions of all PP9 operational utilities and systems.
• Performed commissioning, performance testing and routine check procedures of existing and new equipment within the plant.
• Submitted regular data of performance parameters to the upper management, along with proposals to eliminate bottlenecks as well as possible avenues of improving the process / safety procedures.

• Ensured that Maintenance Work Orders (MWOs) are issued on time and according to priority, for the maintenance and trouble shooting of the concerned units/equipments.

• Maintained inventory of fuel, raw materials and spare parts, audited usage and accordingly placed orders to ensure continual production with minimal idle stock.
• Audited operations reports and logbooks and monitored testing procedures to ensure their adherence to the established control settings. Generated system testing and turnover documentation including scoped documents, test records, test procedures and other similar required documents
• Computed operational and maintenance cost estimates. Devised and reviewed plant budgets in close coordination with the Planning Department, and effected cost cutting measures to maintain adherence to the same.
• Allocated work modules to members of staff under purview and followed up on the progress of modules. Participated in the Authorization Committee to ensure that all operation personnel are properly authorized to perform their duties.
• Managed the training element of the department's workforce that gives staff the understanding, practical skills and motivation to carry out particular work-related tasks. Coordinated with the Planning Department to arrange training and development programs based on both the organization's and the individual's needs.
• Supported and implemented comprehensive occupational health and safety standards and procedures. Enforced obedience to safety regulations, reviewed safety manuals and ensured operational readiness of all safety and emergency equipment within the plant.
