Dr. Imran Usmani is a son of Justice (Retd.) Maulana Muhammad Taqi Usmani (Former Judge Supreme Court of Pakistan) Grand Father of Mufti Muhammad Shafi RH (Grand Mufti of Pakistan)
Job Responsibilities
Assist to ‘Shariah Advisor’ in research and development wing for conducting research in the field of Islamic Banking & Finance) and Shariah Advisory Services at Meezan Bank Limited
Interact with CEO to arrange meeting schedule with State Bank of Pakistan on shariah advisor’s availability.
Interact with executives about their each approval & discussion with shariah advisor for corporate, SME, Investment banking, Treasury dept.
Maintains portfolio of policies of murabaha, musharka, istisna, ijarah, bay salam and all Islamic products locally & internationally.
Maintenance of Invoices and foreign remittances.
Acquire approvals from shariah advisor on advisory report submit to board members.
Prepare routine responses/replies, check and verify draft for accuracy and transcribe dictated responses to various cases by the Executive.
Maintain complete record of Executive's engagements and communicate meeting schedule on daily basis.
Prepare drafts documents on the computer as instructed by the executive.
Manage and monitor a database of incoming and outgoing mails and ensure their delivery on time.
Assist in the planning and preparation of executive meeting, conference calls.
Provide shariah compliant support to executives & management.
Schedule meetings and arrange conference rooms.
Alert management about cancelations or new meetings.
Prepare correspondence and stuff mail into envelopes.
Prepare confidential and sensitive documents.
Determine matters of top priority and handle accordingly.
Plans events and volunteer activities.
Organize travel itineraries, prepares, compiles and maintains travel vouchers and records.
Relay directives, instructions and assignment to executives.
Multitasking abilities with keen eye to detail on reports and messages.
Track record of performing at optimal levels in highly stressful situations.
