Managing the the group of companies’ expenditures in different field as a head of procuremnt inclusive but not limit to raw material, packaging materials, CAPEX, infrastructure..
Managing 27 (direct and indirect) staff in different levels .. with +1 billion SAR annual spent
In addition to managing the Procurement function, I was promoted to lead the Logistics department toward integrated supply management function. The responsibilities inclusive the warehousing, transportation & planning
- Leading the full supply management team ( Purchasing, Contracts, Services, Transportation & Clearance )
-Directs and manages the central purchasing activities of the org.
-Plan, develop and implement the departmental strategies, KPIs, vision & targets.
-Maintain inviromental working relations with, "customer focused" approach.
- ensure the correct policies and procedures are being followed and standards are being maintained.
-Provides guidance, leadership and information on procurement matters to management, department heads etc.
-Ensures that the products procured are of the highest quality at the lowest expense to ensure full and open competition is possible on all purchases.
-Reviews the market and recommends to the various units the best options available in the market; this could cover and is not limited to services, equipment, stationary, etc.
-Works with relevant departments to maintain inventory control of supplies.
-Works with relevant personnel to identify and adopt refinements to the purchasing policy and standards to enable central purchasing to be more efficient.
-Discusses defective and unacceptable goods or services with the users, vendors and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
-To carry out other related duties as requested by top management & board of directors.
Look after all type of purchases in the organization ( Raw materials, spare parts, accessories, additives, chemicals ..etc)
In addition to previous activities, I have been promoted to handle
all raw materials purchases within the company's units
In addition to previous responsibilities, I handled all the key vendors with full purchasing control ..
Support the strategic buying decision by conducting full market research & survey on the commodities to be procured ( historical, supply demand, new capacities, exchange, political factors, crude oil & derivatives .. etc ) reporting to the head of procurement
