Summit oil international is an indigenous upstream oil and gas exploration company located in Otien field Anambra Basin)
Responsibilities:
+ Coordinate procurement and contract activities of the company using best practices and processes in line with the company policies
+ Review Rig less Contracts Strategies & Contracting Plans
+ Prepared the bid list of potential suppliers/contractors based on services categorization strategy and their previous work delivery / experience
+ Liaison with Drilling Manager & Well Completions Engineer
+ Implement Contracts & Procurement (C&P) process and controls
+ Develop ITT and RFQ’s for different projects.
+ Prepare bid list and tender documents
+ Coordinate technical and commercial evaluations
+ Negotiate commercial and payment terms
+ Manage the Procurement and Contracts processes
+ Issue contract awards
+ Coordinate contract compliance with Sponsors
+ Issue contracts reports and coordinate contract audits.
+ Maintain strategic alliances with key original equipment manufacturers (OEM) or their Nigerian representatives with the aim of driving lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) to our competitive advantage.
+ Address strategic supply chain issues and proffer appropriate solutions.
+ Co-ordinate Audit Analysis of Performing and Non-Performing Contracts/Contractors to ascertain value add projects and advise Management.
+ Achieved 15-30% cost saving standard quality and timely delivery in the procurement and contracting of services
+ Engaged suitable contractor to provide quality standard production materials equipment and services for the extended well test EWT.
+ Address strategic supply chain issues and proffer appropriate solutions
+ Developed appropriate procurement strategy, procurement manual and prepere invitation to tender and evaluation progressions to contract awards.
+ Maintain strategic alliance with the key original equipment manufacturer OEM or their Nigerian representative with the aim of driving lowest cost to the company.
+Manage most effectively the relationship between suppliers, technical teams operational teams and other stakeholders.
+ Lead meeting and discussion with operational heads and management on budget and review of procurement functions.



ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
The following achievements demonstrate my qualification for this position at Summit Oil:

+ Tracking and analyzing requisitions for sourcing and purchasing strategy -including supplier selection, contract negotiation, cost reporting, and estimating-while leading a purchasing task force of up to 10 employees.

+ Forecasting product needs through close communication with cross-functional departmental managers.

+ Coordinating with both internal and external customers to ensure appropriate product selection.

+ Achieved 15-30% cost savings, standard quality and timely delivery, in the procurement and contracting of the land drilling rig and support services not limited to Slick line services, Wireline services, Tubular running, Well completions, Cementing & Pumping services, Wellheads and Xmas Tree, Coil Tubing and Nitrogen Lifting, Completion Fluids & Brine Filtration etc.

+ Ensured timely delivery of quality standard production materials, equipment and services leading to success in (condensate/gas) production .

+ Engaged suitable contractors to provide quality and timely services to achieve effective start up of our condensate trucking activities and maintained continuous trucking as a profitable venture for company to date.
