My worksinclude the followings;
1. Supervise the works of sites Accounts staff.
2. Receive financial request for site/ projects expenses and forward the same request to financial controller for approval.
3. Receive all expenses incurred by projects managers, check and forward for posting.
4. prepare monthly Bank Reconcilaition.
5. Keep financial cash balance for each project.
6. To ensure project managers and Accountants paid emplyees income tax deducted to Revenue offices.
7. To ensure staff pension contributions deducted are remitted to pension Administrators.
8. To keep records of all projects cash and bank expenses and balances.
9. To train new Accountants on Construction accounting principle and coding.
10. In addition i prepare various journal vouchers such as for payment certifiacte, foreign order, checking of credits and debits notes receiving from Head office.
11. I also handle other Accounting works.
I am a member of the following professional bodies: 1. Fellow member of Institute of Company and Commercial Accountants of Nigeria. 2. Fellow member of Institute of Corporate Treasurers and Accountants of Nigeria. 3. Associate member of Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Nigeria. 4. Registered Professional of Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria. 5. Diploma in Public Accounting and Auditing. 6. Postgraduate Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting. I equally attended Courses and Workshops on the followings: 1. Executive conversion course of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Nigeria. 2. Training on the Basic Application of Information Technology in Public sector Accounting. 3. Mandatory Professional Education programme on International Public Accounting Standard (IPSAS) 4.Seminar on International Financial Reporting Standard Compliance Sensitization for 2015 dateline. 5.Workshop on an Overview of Treasury Management in a Democratic setting; Roles and Responsibilities, the place of Company meeting in corporate Governance.
