Develop budget plans and initiate purchase orders/material requisitions for equipment/materials required for Fire Protection Unit and emergency response personnel.
•Provide Fire Protection Superintendent with recommendations for improving fixed fighting/ protection installations and fire protection/detection equipment for existing, new and modified facilities.
•Coordinate with the RSS (Refinery Shift Superintend) in related to an emergency drills to maintain the level of readiness for mutual response between emergency teams and Operations.
•Develop, maintain and implement procedures and plans according to the NFPA standards to assure the maintenance and readiness of all portable Fire Protection Unit equipment and fixed fire fighting/protection equipment throughout company. Coordinates preventive maintenance program with responsible department.
•Conduct fire risk assessments and develops emergency response pre-plans for all Process Units and Operating Areas. Coordinates all fire/emergency responses strategies/tactics with Fire Protection Superintendent and Refinery Shift Superintendent. In consultation with Loss Prevention Superintendent, coordinates mutual aid activities.
•Provide all support to the Yanbu Emergency Mutual Aid program to ensure proper and effective SAMREF participation in all activities.
