Catering to basic, detail, power system, procurement and proposal engineering activities mid/downstream/new energy segment of LTHE (L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering ) e.g. Green Hydrogen, Green Ammonia, 3 G Ethanol Plant, Regasification Units, LPG bottling Plant, Petrochemical Plants, Cryogenic Storage, Gas processing units, Process Heaters, , etc
on Brownfield projects for Saudi Aramco, responsible for all activities related to design & engineering for the project (UGP & SGP sales gas compressor motor 13.2KV (27000 hp) & 4.16 KV MCC replacement job) including FEED verification, establishing list of engineering deliverables, coordinate timely issue of all design engineering documents, drawings, computation, specifications etc., to review design deliverables of GES+, front end engineering support & coordination and vendor interfacing.
Broad Activities:
•Responsible for interdisciplinary coordination, verification of design documents, submission of necessary design documents/deliverables and procedures to client.
•To assist Design Manager for the selection of appropriate design subcontractor for the project.
•Ensure FEED and any other inputs received from client/vendor are forwarded to design subcontractor.
•Coordination with procurement department, ensuring that procurement inputs required for design has been obtained from vendor and forwarded to the design contractor.
•Ensuring all design related output for material has been intimated as an input for procurement.
•Reviewing & verifying of power system studies in ETAP-12.6 version issued by GES+.
•Preparation/review of design related procedures, method statement etc. issued by various discipline, design subcontractor and ensure client approval.
•Responsible to ensure unclear issues are resolved with client through technical query in coordination with inter discipline managers and design subcontractor.
•Verification of the design outputs in the form of design computations, drawings and specifications are as per Engineering design deliverables, any addition/deletion is highlighted.
•Reviewing of the design outputs in coordination of respective department/discipline and ensuring that comments are incorporated prior to client submission.
•Responsible to ensure approval of all submitted documents and drawings and necessary coordination with client.
•Participating in design verification stage as required during pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning works..
•Coordination for the preparation of as built and clearance of snags during final inspection
Manger design electrical for EPC international projects catering Detail Engineering for electrical system & Power system engineer for E-tap studies (Midyan gas processing plant for Saudi Aramco project). Involved in pre-bid of various Oil/Gas proposals such as ORPIC (Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company)., IOCL etc.
Broad Activities:
•Involved in closing out of 30%, 60% & 90% deliverables for the MGPF project as per schedule.
•Responsible for carrying out various power system studies like load flow studies, short circuit analysis, Motor starting analysis (Static), relay coordination & arc flash analysis for the Midyan Gas Processing Facility project in E-tap 12.6 as per ANSI & ARAMCO Standards..
•Preparation of MR, TQs, TBE, PR for electrical system equipments for voltage level 13.8KV, 4.16KV & 0.480KV such as transformer, cables, HV/LV switchgear, NGR & Diesel generator.
•Preparation of substation layouts, Grounding layout & cable trench layouts.
•Finalization of switchgear & controlgear control schematic as per standard & client requirement.
•Preparation of Load list, SLD & HV/LV feeder list as per Saudi Aramco Standards & IEC.
•Familiar with Saudi Aramco standards viz, SAES, SAMSS, SABP etc.
•Selection & sizing of HV/MV/LV Switchgears, transformers, HV/LV Cables etc. as per ANSI/IEEE, IEC & Saudi Aramco standards such as SAES & SAMSS.
•Interaction with cross discipline dept. for preparing the various deliverables.
•Closing of VDR within given time frame for electrical equipments & process packages such as sales gas compressors, Burn pit & flare systems, chlorine dosing packages, API & Non API packages.
•Reviewing of package motors as per NEMA MG-1.
•Selection of electrical equipment enclosures as per Hazardous area classification (IEC, NEC 500 & 505)
•Preparation of operation philosophy & implementing of auto/manual changeover scheme of power systems.
•Preparing Earthing calculations for plant area as per IEEE 142 & 80.
•Engineering document/ design memorandum review & approval for the all the electrical system which includes, Emergency Diesel Generators, Transformers, 13.8KV, 4.16KV, Distribution for HT loads, 0.480KV Distribution for LT loads.
•Preparation of equipment datasheet for material requisition.
•Reviewing of various protections schemes for transformer, Bus Bar & motor
•Preparation of interconnection schedule
