Current Project: Masdar Central Park Phase 2, Package 1 in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi
Key Responsibilities:
• Rising work inspection requests (WIR) and material inspection requests (MIR).
• Controlling all inspection activities and coordination with Consultants and Site
construction team.
• Ensuring timely submission for material submittals.
• General supervision of day-to-day testing activities and coordination with testing
laboratory.
• Carrying out factory inspections and witnessing tests.
• Checking materials delivery and handling.
• Ensuring quality of materials delivered at site as per approval/ order.
• Liaising with consultant’s representatives for material inspection upon delivery.
• Preparation of method statements and testing procedures.
• Closing SOR & NCR by following with site team and consultant.
• Reviewing subcontractors’ pre-qualifications.
• Assisting management representative in implementation of ISO 9001 systems in
project execution.
• Monitoring and implanting approved QC Plan.
• Preparing the PQP & ITPS.
• Preparing the daily progress report and monthly quality report.
• Rising RFI and follow up with consultant.
• Coordinating with subcontractors for Shop Drawings, Material approval and other
quality related matters.
Project: Different Villa Projects in Sharjah - UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design the full project using CSI Safe, Prokon and Excel Sheets.
• Draw structural drawing using AutoCAD.
• Follow up appointments for structural discussions with municipality engineers.
• Site Inspection according to drawings. Taking decisions and solving problems with site engineers.
• Monitor all the activities on the project and percentage competition to maintain cash flow.
• Dealing with contractors.
• Ensure inspection with the client.
• Follow up all the documentation with planning dept. and municipality.
• Design and Draw other services drawings using AutoCAD including Gas, water and Telecom drawing.
Project: FEWA Work Orders & Construction Projects, RAK - UAE.
Construction Projects:
• Construction of Staff Accommodation (G+1).
• Construction of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Capacity 1250 m3.
Location: Industrial Area, Jazeerah Al Hamra Free Zone. RAK.
• Construction of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Capacity 2000 m3 + Irrigation
Tank, Capacity 1000 m3.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute the work in accordance with architectural and structural drawings.
• Ensure that the work is being carried out as per approved method statement, shop drawing, and approved materials.
• Worked as Project Engineer on the Construction of Staff Accommodation and Supervise and Execution of overall civil works from layout till finishing works including Architectural and Structural Designing, Drawings, BOQ, Material Requisition, BBS, Site Planning and Management, Quality Control and Daily Report.
• Alone handling site with total 25 to 30 persons.
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed is as per specifications.
• Coordinate all the quality related activities with the project manager.
• Dealing with Subcontractors, Supervisors, Surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Ensure inspection with the client and consultant.
• Ensure the safety at site.
My responsibilities were to:
• Execute all the civil works according to drawings i.e. supervision of steel, formwork
and concrete works.
• Raise “Request for Inspection” (RFI) document to the consultant after the self-
inspection of activities.
• Monitor all the activities on the project and coordinate the issues with Construction
Manager.
• Coordinate all the quality related activities with the QC manager.
• Dealing with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors and the general workforce
involved in the project.
• Ensure inspection with the consultant.
