Contribute to defining the list of activities, the list of deliverables and the time schedule for the Discipline in accordance with Contract requirements.
 Preparing all environmental procedures and/or manuals for construction and commissioning to identify the environmental design requirements and procedures applicable to the Project and assure their implementation.
 To assure the technical coordination of the environmental discipline;
 To be the technical reference for specialists and designers and to ensure participation in interdisciplinary activities.
 Providing technical support to the Project group.
 Providing guidelines to Project Management and Subcontractors for the management of environmental issues.
 Analyzing the environmental impact of activities both for Project and execution phases.
 Identify and develop proper mitigation measures and methods to be implemented for the reduction of environmental impacts.
 Providing support for the development and improvement of the Environmental Management System and Project performances.
 developing specific studies and global analyses in order to evaluate and improve the environmental system in normal and abnormal conditions.
 Ensure that the environmental requirements are established, implemented and maintained across the site activities, specifically including:
 Identification and assessment of environmental aspects and impacts, including their review and updating Environmental objectives, targets and environmental management programs.
 Support HSEM in reviewing and updating site environmental plans/procedures, when necessary.

 Monitor adherence to the PROJECT environmental Policy & objectives, identifying potential noncompliance, and providing advice on remedial actions, through environmental audits and inspections.
 Monitor and verify closeout of corrective actions arising from environmental audits.
 Report periodically to the PROJECT management on the performance of the project environmental management system.
 Responsible to report to PM-C as well as HSEM on the environmental performances concerning site environmental aspects, e.g.:
 Waste management activities;
 Control of noise and dust production;
 Wastewater and drainage control;
 Spill prevention activities;
 Monitoring, supervising and supporting the all subcontractors working on the projects to solve environmental issues and ensuring work as per Environmental Plan and procedure.

• Prepare Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) for the project and environmental risk assessment for the activities on site.
• Actively participate that the project work to be carried out according to Aramco Standards.
• Follow up the instructions given by Environmental Protection Department (EPD) day by day.
• Responsible for implementation of Environmental Management Plan and improve environmental conditions on site.
• Ensure and monitor environmental issues on site and rectify them immediately ASAP.
• Conduct tool box talks about environmental and health issues to the workers at site.
• Conduct environmental and health awareness trainings for the people working in the company.
• Ensure proper site temporary facilities rest shelters, drinking stations, smoking areas, toilets etc. to be provided to the workers at site.
• Implementing waste segregation with colour code at collection points and proper transportation to the final disposal/recycling areas.
• Preparing proactive and corrective action plans for the Oil Spillages.
• Ensure designated areas for the Oil storage with secondary containments.
• Regular monitoring for chemical storage area and providing trainings on handling and storage procedures as per MSDS.
• Monitoring & supervision of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and RO Plant.
• Ensuring the water quality parameters according to WHO standards.
• Implementing HACCP in the company for food safety and providing trainings to the kitchen crew.
• Conducting water testing analysis of dewatering discharge water to the sea on regular basis to ensure the results are according to Saudi Aramco Standards, Conductivity, Turbidity, pH etc.
• Ensuring water chemical analysis from third party on monthly basis.
• Ensure analysis report of dredged material according to Aramco standards before dumping into sea.
• Ensuring oil spill control equipment on dredgers in offshore while dredging activities.
• Submitting daily observation and corrective action reports to the Aramco for environmental concerns at site.
• Carryout scheduled and unscheduled Environmental Audits on site.
• Conduct root cause analysis for direct and underlying causes of environmental incidents/accidents at site

• To ensure compliance with company's objectives, requirements, priorities, policies, procedures, standards, rules, regulations and guidelines provided by company from time to time.
• Ensure compliance of Process Safety Risk Management, Personnel Safety Management and Construction Safety Manual requirements.
• Responsible for supervision of Health, Safety and Environment for construction of the work.
• Participate as a facilitator in preparing of HSE Plan, HSE bulletins, Inspection Checklists and other HSE related documents for projects and facilities.
• Participates in Job Safety Analysis, Pre Start-up Safety Reviews, Incident Investigations & walk thru audits.
• Implementation of Permit to Work System and other procedures at project sites.
• Conduct and ensure that regular TBT Meeting should be carried out for specific jobs and provide on job safety training to the workers.
• Monitoring of field work activities to eliminate the Unsafe Practices and Conditions of different plant construction activities.
• Maintained MSDS of chemicals and other substances hazardous to health, which may lead to unsafe working conditions and environment.
• Providing safety advice and guidance to the site management & supervisors.
• Responsible for company's environmental matters & waste management control.
• Ensuring Civil, Mechanical & Electrical safety requirement in the field.

• To develop, Implement and monitor the HSE Policy, Safety Plan, H&S procedures / programs.
• Ensure compliance of Process Safety Risk Management, Personnel Safety Management and Construction Safety Manual requirements.
• Strives for minimum possible injuries in the field with zero fatality & lost workday injuries.
• Issuing/verification of all kinds of permits and also implementing recommendations to ensure safety while carrying out critical jobs in highly flammable areas, confined space, hot works, cold works, rigging activities etc.
