SEC approved Testing engineer of HV cables and partial discharge :
- Resonance test (HV test) for 110, 132, 380 KV cables and GIS busbar.
-Partial discharge test for cables.
-Power Transformer testing.
-HV test using VLF technique (Very low frequency) for MV cables.
-Electrical test. (Performed before HV test)
-Scanning test (to locate underground cables without excavation)
SEC Approved Testing and commissioning engineer, I have worked in substations with different ranges of voltage, 132KV and 110KV /13, 8KV, and I have performed a variety of tests such as:
-Switchgear component testing. (LV/MV/HV)
-Earth switch testing and SF6.
-Secondary injection for CT and VT.
-Primary injection and stability test.
-Simple relay test. (overcurrent, earth fault and CBF )
-13.8 KV and 110 KV scheme check.
-High voltage (VLF) test for MV power cables.
-Learned about Safety instructions the technician should follow
-Frequent problems of cables and how to fix it
-How to detect faults in underground cables using different types of equipment
Learned about important electrical equipments in the hospital like (ATS, UPS, relays), their cooling systems and Safety alarm system
