The Engineer (Systra-Parsons Joint Venture)
Project: Dubai Metro Project (US$7.6 billion)
Scope: Responsible for underground stations, tunnels and annex structures (Green Line).
Role: Reviewing drawings and contract documents. Coordinating with other disciplines. Supervising electrical works according to work schedule, method statements and safety requirements. Conducting material and installation inspections, testing and commissioning (including FATs & SATs). Preparing punch lists/snag lists. Attending meetings and raising reports.
Achievements
•Quickly adapted to a large scale project with a multicultural work environment and with a highly interfering and overlaping work scopes between subcontractors of different disciplines.
•Sucessfully handled complicated installation-design conflicts helping deliver the project on time and to standards.
•Helped minimize site accidents and injuries through enforcing HSE plans and procedures.
