Create and manage Facility Engineering budgets for both capital (CAPEX) and operational (OPEX)
• Introducing and implementing program/project management methodologies
• Review, approve, or modify Factories /Buildings/ Warehouses designs.
• Make detailed plans to accomplish projects within time, cost and quality
• Manage Facilities spaces to account on-going departmental growth and/or reduction
• Analyzing and approving all engineering proposals from customers and internal departments
• Establish administrative policies, procedures, and standards.
• Design new civil infrastructures to meet plant expansions and modification requirements.
• Evaluate contractor’s proposals to ensure economical and technical compliance.
• Monitor contractor’s work to comply with company quality standards.
• Maintain safety measures to ensure minimal accidents.
• Solve site problems to avoid completion delay.
• Provide technical guidance to enhance subordinates capabilities
• Increase involvement in the automation component of projects.
• Coordinate with the Project Managers and engineering of other disciplines regarding project planning & scheduling, implementation and monitoring of actual progress.
• Assist the Project Engineer in checking of Contractor's billing based on actual accomplishments and prepares accomplishments report.
• Assist the Project Engineer in preparation & finalizing the recovery schedule.
• Coordinate with Project Engineer and Project Managers in the schedule and program of work and responsible in updating against the actual construction history.
• Prepare the Gantt Chart for various projects.
• Control of documentation in / out flows to ensure information is updated.
As per member of the project team, to ensure that the project is implemented and completed as per the schedule and approved design, in coordination with the contractors and equipment vendors/suppliers and according to Almarai Health & Safety and Quality Standard.
The BSc (Hons) in Construction Management & Engineering is a four year course that prepares graduates for a career as professional construction managers and engineers in the Irish and worldwide construction industry.
