Corporate Operational Excellence Analytics (2015-2016), Technical Lead:
I’m currently leading one of most strategic analytics projects in the organization to monitor the overall progress of the corporate Operation Excellence. The objective of this project is to provide management with corporate action tracking solution. This will help identify key pain areas and will provide business opportunities for improvements, integration and streamlining, thus reducing business complexity, leading to the reduction of cost and improvement of quality to achieve the highest levels of operational excellence.
Corporate Cyber Security Analytics (2015-2016), Technical Lead:
I’m currently leading this agile project following the Scrum methodology. The objective of this analytical solution is to monitor the cyber security key performance indicators (KPI’s). In addition, this solution will enable management and Information Security Analysts to identify areas of concerns and take proper corrective actions.
Energy Efficiency Dashboard (2013-2015), Project Manager:
I managed this project throughout the full development lifecycle including the development of the feasibility study document. The objective of the project was to develop an analytical solution to monitor the power generation & fuel consumption in the utilities sector and assist decision makers in taking proper actions to ensure power is generated in the most efficient manner.
This solution is a comprehensive dashboard for monitoring and analyzing the operation of the electrical system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the consumption of fuels in the electrical sector. The main objective is to increase efficiency in the utility sector and reduce consumption of valuable liquid fuels in the Kingdom, enable Saudi Aramco to build future fuel strategies based on power demand trending and actual fuel consumptions, and serve Saudi Aramco's Accelerated Transformation Program's strategic Intent of supporting the kingdom in transitioning to energy-efficient utilities.
Environment Health & Safety Management Analytics Project (2015), Technical Lead:
The aim of this project was to implement the SAP Environment Health & Safety Management System (EHSM) which will enhance Saudi Aramco’s ability to ensure that Company operations are conducted in compliance with the environmental, health and safety regulations and standards. EHSM will also enable the Company organizations to have immediate access to relevant information needed for compliance and business decisions.
Corporate Safety Dashboard Project (2013-2014), Project Manager:
Managed the Corporate Safety Dashboard project to architect and develop an analytical solution to meet new safety requirements by Saudi Aramco. The new system automates the process of updating safety key performance indicators (KPIs). This system enables users to review their safety performance and identify the areas that require safety improvement, and hence proactively contributes to safer environment. Additionally, the new system reduces statistical data requests since users are able to generate their reports at their convenience.
SAP BW 7.3 Upgrade Project (2011-2012), Project Manager:
Managed the SAP BW upgrade project. Completed this project 4 months ahead of schedule by overlapping the landscape systems upgrade cycles and reducing the iterations of system copy trials. The objective of the upgrade was to:
- Enhance system scalability and performance for faster decision making
- increase flexibility
- improve development efficiency
- simplify configuration and operational management
Internship Assignment with IBM company during which I worked on SAP BW implementation program. I focused on system fine-tuning and performance enhancement by developing logically partitioned layered data model.
• Designed and architected re-usable components to help speed up the process of integrating Business Intelligence Dashboards with user friendly selection criteria in different visualizations. The objective was to help other developers develop Business Intelligence applications rapidly and efficiently.
• Implemented multiple analytical solutions and dashboards for different business functions and integrated them with the Enterprise Portal. For examples: Contracting Dashboard, Testing and Inspection, and Materials Executive Profiles
• Developed statistics reports to monitor server performance and help fine-tuning. These reports also helped monitor application usage and system utilization
