 Participate in preparing & implementing the marketing plan to achieve set targets & increase the bank market share.

 Prepare/review credit proposals prepared by subordinates for potential/outstanding borrowers and ensure that its quality is within acceptable standards. Structure limits, review account strategy, formulate recommendations and discuss proposal with credit committee.
 Prepare required documentation following obtaining final approval in line with approval terms and conditions and in compliance with bank’s policy.
 Leasing with various internal departments for smooth and quick turnaround of transactions.
 Keep up-to-date team MIS. Day-to-day management of the portfolio, monitor cash-flows and operate limits accordingly for financed projects.
 My portfolio is composed of 64 medium to large size customers. 70% of my portfolio is contracting and real estate accounts. Rest of 30% is trading and manufacturing.
 Turnover of my customers is AED 250M on average basis (excluding top tier customers whose turnover is between AED 2Bn - AED 3.5Bn).
 The size of assigned portfolio is AED 4.8Bn in terms of funded and non funded facilities.
 During this role I had extensive experience in syndication finance where I am handling three syndication deals two of which are related to Doha Metro project.

The size of assigned portfolio was, on average basis, AED 2.5Bn in terms of funded and non funded facilities. Annual net income of my portfolio was in range of AED35M. During this post I had exposure to finance mega projects of different types and I gained special experience for restructuring indebtness of delinquent contractors who defaulted as a result of insolvency major project owners such as Nakheel due to market conditions then following global financial crises which took place in 2009.

Main duties :
 To assess, prepare and recommend credit proposals both for existing and prospective clients in line with Bank’s Credit policy in co-ordination with the Relationship Managers.
 Coordinating with the business units and RMs well in advance of due dates of annual reviews to obtain necessary information from the borrower to facilitate a comprehensive review of the credit facilities.
 To manage an assigned portfolio of corporate borrowing accounts and maintain healthy portfolio position through quality credit reviews including identifying relevance and materiality of risk issues and value addition by way of suggesting appropriate financing structure and covenants that mitigates risks identified which, in turn, integrate business role and optimize overall performance and ensure that bank’s rights are protected. All tasks in the role to be completed within the agreed timelines/turnaroun time.
 Monitoring accounts for utilization of limits, compliance with approval terms & conditions, follow up and coordinating with business units to ensure timely regularization of the accounts in terms of excesses, past dues and deficiency in documentation.
 I had an exposure through this role to all industry sectors including trading, manufacturing, contracting and real estate. In addition, I had exposure to large-scale and medium-scale market segments.
