Senior Clinical Fellow at Manchester Royal Infirmary
  • United Kingdom - Manchester
  • My current job since September 2015

The work description at MRI adult cardiac surgery unit is similar to that performed at Wythenshawe but without the pure Thoracic surgery procedures because at MRI the is only Adult Cardiac and Adult Congenital heart disease surgery.
So basically in addition all the adult cardiac surgery procedures, I have the chance to do adult congenital cardiac surgery procedures under the direct supervision of Mr Andreas Hoschtitzky who is currently the main Adult Congenital Cardiac surgeon at MRI.
MRI has become the Trauma Centre in Manchester so get chest trauma patients for emergency intervention.
My experience in Emergency Department as well as in Cardiothoracic surgery helps keeping me comfortable in emergency situations and calm under pressure.
