Responsible for developing the Organization's business in East Africa, selling a variety of Telecom Solutions for Telecom operators and Telecom Regulations bodies.
Responsible for opening new opportunities and retaining customer purchases for a wide range of customers, in the Telecommunications sector, and other named accounts in the Government and Banking sectors. Employer is a Software and Services company, focusing mainly on the Financial Sector, providing a number of in-house developed software products built on various platforms, and also services for a number of International products.
Major achievements:
• Over-achievement: Succeeded in securing above 100% of the quota in the assigned territory.
• Vodafone Egypt: Started the activities in the account in January 2009, by June 2009 secured 2.5 Million EGP in revenue for my employer by the end of FY 2009, varying from Software development deals (sensitive projects inside the Billing and payments specially), a number of Service Level Agreements, to technical personnel outsourcing.
• Real-Estate Mortgage House: Development project for a loan origination, management, and collection application. The application has been branded and sold as ready-made package for the real-estate mortgage business in the market.
• Financial sector: A large number of service deals with major banks within territory, as well as a number of stock exchange corporations in Egypt.
• Government Sector: Succeeded on closing a variety of software development deals, including a very large development project with the Ministry of Civil Aviation (1.2 Million EGP), as well as other large services projects with the Ministry of State of Administrative Development (MSAD) - Traffic Authority project, and the Ministry of Finance datacenter service level agreement.
Job Roles included:
. Conducting regular customer meetings for new sales opportunities, gathering customer requirements and submitting technical and financial proposals correspondingly
. Preparation and submittal of government RFP's. Was in included in all bid preparation procedures and post-bid meetings for promoting the company's solutions
. Handling and opening new requirements for large Government accounts that include:

. Was responsible for opening and handling new opportunities at a number of Educational accounts in Egypt (both Governmental and Private sector)
. Was responsible for the negotiations of contracts' terms and conditions with customers, also handling the workflow upon receiving customer POs until successful delivery of customer needs to the corresponding Project Manager.
. Handling deals with a number of local and international IT vendors in the market including Miscrosoft, HP, Cisco, Sun Microsystems.
. Planning and building the company's sales pipeline, as well as the pipeline with the vendors that include Miscrosoft, HP, Cisco, Sun Microsystems.
. Was responsible for negotiations for the contracts of several large Microsoft Enterprise Agreements, with successful follow ups till customer satisfactory delivery.
. Conducting High Excecutive Meetings with Government officials and IT consultants
. Supervizing the building of high-end total solutions for the Hospital Management Information System business need, as well as negotiate partnerships with different vendors from the same sector.
- Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and resolve medium to complexity customer faults and provide the next technical support when resolution is not possible to add value and support of the issue reported.
- Diagnose fault-related cases by effectively utilizing software diagnostics on Nortel Passports, Cisco Routers, Catalyst switches, Control ware IDB and TAXI equipment for ISDN backup.
- Monitor systems, customers' networks, and products dealing with alerts, and events as appropriate.
- Perform technical and management escalations in line with the company policy and case excellence.
- Run and own the daily surgery process with a view of identifying and resolving PS&M high duration faults.
- Provide statistical information on PS&M activities status, and prepare technical reports as required.
- Prepared and explained laboratory material for various computer science subjects based on the theoretical material that was given in lectures.
