• I am the focal point for all quality matters on the project during the construction phase. My main responsibilities are as follows:

• Provide technical advice to Project Management Team (PMT)

• Resolve Quality conflict issues between PID and PMT

• Arrange for timely company quality assessments and participate in the Contractor’s project specified quality audits.

• Participate in the pre-construction/Kick-off meetings.

• Ensure that the Contractor's Project Quality Plans are reviewed and approved by the PID team,

• Ensure all QA/QC Procedures and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s) are prepared and addresses the Contractors’ commitment, organization, quality system, personnel and processes are adequate to achieve contractual and project requirements.

• Verify the QA/QC personnel qualifications and the level of project coverage of the Contractor.

• Monitor the Contractor’s inspection efforts and conduct sufficient on site quality assessments in all disciplines to assure that the Contractor is effectively implementing their approved Quality Plans, and report discrepancies to the Project Management Team (PMT)

• Arrange and coordinate the Company inspection activities and ensure that adequate resources are available to meet the inspection and testing requirements.

• Maintain and highlight potential and occurred violations to PMT

• Provide awareness & training as required to PID, PMT and Contractor to:
Standardize & control the document submittal processes
Monitor the Quality Status
Prepare Company NCR for issuance by SAPMT to Contractor.
Promote and build awareness of the project quality requirements.
Arrange for focused assessments to be timely conducted on specific work elements to ensure that the project quality activities and processes are effective.
Participate in the acceptance of mechanical activities
