• Review and determine all payments due and to submit the payment requests and disbursement schedule to Finance Manager for review and signature prior to the actual preparation of cheques.
• Assist to monitor and prepare the payroll
• Ensure accurate data entry of all approved invoices.
• Check all the petty cash vouchers for supporting documents, validity and accuracy and posting in the accounting system for payment processing.
• Assist in the resolution of internal and external A/P customer issues and concerns.
• Developing new trading opportunities and supply sources.
• Cultivating and maintaining relationships with suppliers and end users.
• Negotiating price, specification and delivery details.
• Builds and maintains a specific network of customers and suppliers associated with industry.
• Answering the Request for Quote (RFQs) sent from customers.
• Develop relationships with professionals in the import/export market as well as brokers and other traders to gain extra color on the markets.
• Contacting potential clients via email or phone.
• Proactively sourcing new business opportunities with producers.
