Supervised the implementation of Lawson payroll system using Kronos time capturing system. Defined data conversion mapping on payroll output from Lawson into JAMIS system. Established control procedures for payroll processing between different systems. Designed appropriate activity codes for project reporting on various grants. Identified all the required financial reports for operation and developed new reports using Report Writer and Crystal Reports. Responsible for the management and supervision of the Grant & Fund Accounting Division that accounts for all non-operating activities of this 885-bed teaching hospital. Responsibilities include, organization of work, staff development, expense control and process improvement and problem solving in the delivery of service to customers.

Involved, at a management and implementation level, with a variety of systems automation projects directed at both the financial and patient administration activities of the hospital, including the change over of financial system from SMS to Lawson. Reduced preparation time of financial statements by job distribution, automation, and linked modules. Reorganized several functions, enabling significant cost savings through staff restructure.
