Team: Circuit Design Planning (CDPT)
•Responsible to manage circuit design and planning team. Leading a team of 15 professionals supporting three different projects on customer and Network infrastructure circuits on CTL National and Local EQ & QC networks.
•Leading an Automation team as well of 9 members within the Network Division to automate mundane tasks using RPA, Python & UFT. Got hands on experience in RPA tool UIPATH.
•Responsible for performance management of team -Goals setting, appraisal discussion and performance evaluation.
•Responsible for the team to deliver customer circuit designs on with speeds ranging from DS1 - OC192 and from 1G-100G circuits on SONET and DWDM systems for customer and Network Infrastructure (VOICE, DATA& TRANSPORT)circuit with vendors involving Fujitsu, Cisco, Ciena 6500 & Infinera DTNx.
•Responsible for planning and circuit design for low speed ckts (Oc12 & below speed). Work as a SPOC for all provisioning enquires and project manage end - end delivery of designs.
•Support Grooms/Optimization projects on both customer and network infra designs
•Expert on inventory tools like CORE, TIRKS, QPROV, LIMS, WMS& NBIE used for circuit designs/PDAC.
•Responsible for TIRKS inventory clean up through automation.
•Responsible for Transition of new process/projects to CTLI.
•Managing work allocation, escalations, training needs and quality assurance.
•Weekly/monthly interactions within the team and with the US counterparts to discuss about the regular BAU tasks and keep a watch on the SLA and trigger for any changes on the same when required.
•To keep a close watch on the competency domain of the team and plan for regular competency development program

SDH Engineer - Transmission Plan, Implement & Test
• Responsible for SDH/SONET and PDH Provisioning, Solution Implementation and Network Planning, Circuit Writing & Transmission- Build.
• NMS administrator and support for Operation and maintenance, planning and optimization of SDH networks involving Marconi, Nortel & Alcatel.
• Study the high level HLD of Fiber optic cable network and propose necessary proactive actions to design path for core SDH network.
•Involved in preparation of the transmission design documents (TDD’s) and updating of the provisioned bandwidth on MORI (modeling and operational route Information database) and Cramer.
•Capable of configuring different bandwidths depending on the customer requirements ranging from E1, E3, DS3 up to 1G on Marconi MV38, Nortel Preside and Alcatel.
•Upgrading/Re-routing the existing bandwidth from 10Meg to 10G depending on the customer requirements in the existing path/route.
•Working knowledge in SDH equipment Marconi (1684, 1674, 1664 and OMS840) Nortel TN4XE/16XE, TN1X/1C
•Expertise in using planning/circuit writing vendor tools like Cramer6, FMAN (Fiber manager), LOCM (Location Manager) &MORI.
•Have handled different planned outages according to the project requirements like site closure, network ring upgrade, migration of PDH data onto SDH etc
