Carries out various duties related to crude oil loading operations from Control Room Graphic Consoles on assigned shift. This includes:
=>Receive/distribute shipping telexes
=>Prepare /checks / ensure the preparation of documents prior to arrival of vessels and the P.D. Meters prior to commencement of loading.
=> Record shipping movements in the approach channel and maintain detailed log of all berthing and loading times.
=>Carry out and/or control the Start/Stop loading operations including operating control console/loading pumps as necessary.
=>Ensure correct oil flow rates by operating loading pumps if required, proving the P.D. Meters during loading against prover loop.
=> Record all loading data, and, if required, to construct Meter Performance Curves in the presence of Supreme Petroleum Council Oil measurement Inspector and calculate hourly quantities shipped.
=>Calculates shore final loading temperature/ pressure and cargo loaded, ensuring that telexes to lifters are prepared as per requirement and passed to Supervisor for signature.
Monitors incoming oil to tank farm
=>Record hourly tank level, daily tank temperature.
=>Reads and records meteorological data four times a day such as temperature, wind velocity/ direction etc. and passes to ADCO Radio Room, Abu Dhabi. Ensure that monthly weather report is prepared and dispatched for Government Department concerned.
=>Report malfunctions or irregularities in instruments and equipment to the Supervisor or Maintenance personnel for necessary maintenance/repair/ replacement.
=>Understands the Company Health, Safety and Environment Policy, and how it relates to my job. Performs my work in a safe and efficient manner, and familiar with relevant safe working procedures and practices that relate to my job
=>Participate isolating and preparing P.D. Meters, loading lines, tanks etc. when required for maintenance work.

PRECOMMISSIONING EXPERIENCE:
Plant Air Purging, Pressurization & Depressurization of pipelines and equipments, sheet blasting, leak testing in pipelines and various equipments related flanges. Steam, Air, Nitrogen purging to various equipments like columns, Heat exchangers, pressure Vessels, Centrifugal Compressors, Control Valves operation and tripping devices, etc..
COMMISSIONING EXPERIENCE:
=> Hydrocarbon (Cracked Gas) charging in various equipments and leak testing at above its operating pressure and attending work done, if any leak during commissioning activity.
=> Check list preparation for the start-up of lube oil/seal oil system to run Cracked Gas Compressors & Various Turbine driven pumps, etc.
=> Handling of various equipments like Cracked Gas Compressor supplied by MITISUBUSHI, JAPAN,
=> Handling of various Heat -Exchangers like Shell & Tube, U-Tube, Double pipe, Kettle type and plate fin -type used in Cryogenic service, Pressure Vessels, Steam Turbine, Motor & Turbine driven Pumps, Horizontal and vertical mounted sundyne pumps, Steam Ejectors, Tray type Distillation columns, Surface Condensers of Steam turbine operated compressors, etc..
=> Handling of Regeneration operation for Dryers, Reactors of C2 & C3 Hydrogenation.
=> Knowledge of PFD/PID (Read & Interpretation).
=> Knowledge of SOP (Standard Operation Procedure)
=> Carries out simple maintenance work such as blinding, de-blinding of smaller size pipelines, fixes minor leaks of steam/condensate, connects/disconnects fittings of flexible hoses and grease isolating valves to ensure they are in good working condition

JOB PROFILE:
=> Normal plant operation with SOC.
=> Handing over of equipments, compressors for maintenance, reactivating the system after maintenance as per SOP.
=> Monitoring of all equipments.
=> Responsible for the safe operation, safe start-up & shutdown of the plant.
=> Emergency plant handling, which includes plant start-up & shutdown.
=> Schedule changeover of rotating equipments as per SOP.
=> Burner lightening up & change over of bottom fired reformer Furnace (Callidus, USA make) & check-up of burner flame pattern.
=> Checking steam reformer furnace tubes skin temperatures as per given schedule regularly.
=> Taking schedule plant sampling in open & close sampling system for routine analysis & trouble shooting.
=> Oil top up in rotating equipments.
=> Taking plant round regularly for any abnormalities & normal reliable plant operation and reporting any abnormalities to Panel operator and Supervisor
=> Filling of field logbook for record & troubleshooting.
=> Checking of steam leaks in steam generation system.
=> I have actively participated in PRESHUTDOWN/DURING SHUTDOWN caring out different jobs assigned to me from time to time.
=> Experience in the operation of fire extinguishers like foam, DCP, CO2.
=> Familiar with operation of personal protective equipment
=> Conversant with Permit to work system
=> Following proper housekeeping to ensure clean and safe work area.

PROCESS:
Hydrotreating, Desulphurization, Catalytic Steam Reforming, Water Gas Shift reaction, Pressure Swing Adsorption

WORKING OUT PROFILE:
=> Obtained hands-on-training of various process equipments.
=> Familiarize with various processes and unit operations.
=> Understood about different process equipment & startup-shutdown procedure.
=> Document and record information, Process information.
=> Read and understand work-related materials.
=> Also experienced of activities such as Recording KEY plant operating data at regular intervals during shifts, making adjustment to the plant in accordance with standard operating procedures or as directed from the control room.

BOILER : Waste Heat Recovery Boiler System, Total Steam Production is 120 Tones/Hr at 45Kg/cm2
COMPRESSORS : CORKEN reciprocating Gas Compressor(single stage double acting) having capacity of 12000 Nm3/Hr
