This course provides students with an introduction to computing and the on-line world. Students
learn about software applications such as word processing, databases and electronic mail.
They take part in on-line discussions, search the web and author simple web pages using
HTML. This course is taught entirely on-line. The total teaching and assessment material is
published on the course web site, to which only registered students have access. Students
work both individually and in groups with fellow students on collaborative projects, supported by
a personal tutor.
I am PhD, Researcher at Universiti Utara Malaysia 2013/10 is the starting date and working hard to finish my Phd in 2017
The programme aims at realising the following objectives- To equip postgraduate students with an integrated set of skills that will allow them to develop their professional careers in Information Technology. At the end of this programme, the student will possess a strong foundation of computer systems and information technology Dexterity in advanced programming languages; power to build sophisticated software for wide area of applications Skills to work with higher end applications in internet technologies; also managerial ability to analyze, design, develop and to maintain software development.
Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) is an undergraduate degree programme offered by the Department of Information Systems (DIS) under the Kulliyyah/Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (KICT) at the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM). This programme will provide a course of study for students who want to understand information systems from a technological perspective, the organizational contexts in which these systems are developed and the business environments which determine how the systems can be used to create value. It provides an excellent preparation for graduates seeking a challenging and rewarding career in this field, offering a high level of knowledge and skills in both IT and management.
