• Control all hand-held HW/SW related issues.
• Maintain route master list by branch.
• Meet audit rules/regulations of the company.
ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE CURRENT ROLE:
• Plan/Budget/Execute and Lead a team of IT professionals to Implement Sales-Force Automation System in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Jordan.
• Supporting two massive Databases Running on SQL Server 2008.
• Provide/implement wireless BT printer and android based device solution which eliminated most of hand-held HW issues.
MAIN DUTIES :
• Provide technical support to end-user.
• Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade hardware and software interfaces with the operating system.
• In charge of KSA Branches communications and ISP coordination.
• Maintain daily back-up of database and ensure off-site storage as part of our disaster recovery plan.
ACHIEVEMENTS AT THIS ROLE:
• Massive KSA system upgrade which follows these steps:
• Step 1: Join all stand-alone computers in KSA branches to our domain.
• Step 2: Implement Microsoft Exchange Email; a secure enterprise email system solution.
• Step 3: Implement SOPHOS anti-virus.
• Step 4: Implement upgraded-firewall solution for HO network.
This course introduces students to the functional areas, concepts, theories, and practices of management. It will focuses on improving the student understands of the theories and practices of management, including the managerial process (the four functions of management; to plan, to organize, to lead and to control) and how these business functions are enhanced through effective application to attain corporate objectives. It will discuss also business ethics issues relevant to management practices
MISSION OF THE DEPARTMENT The mission of the department is to deliver quality Business and IT Education and Training Programs for regular students from industry and other sectors of the society. ROLE OF THE DEPARTMENT In fulfilling its mission, the MIT Department has established a set of objectives relating to curriculum, students, faculty and resources and aims to achieve these by undertaking different departmental activities. This includes developing and implementing a responsive curriculum, teaching and learning strategies, outcome-based assessment, and continuous improvement process using state-of-the-art teaching facilities. These tasks contribute to creating a conducive and stimulating educational environment. In addition, to curricular activities, students are continuously encouraged to actively participate in various extra-curricular activities. The MIT Department is primarily involved in teaching and training in Marketing, Accounting, and Office Management & Information Technology & Systems Support (ITSS) subject areas. The Associate of Science (AS) programs of the MIT department are fully accredited by a leading business education accrediting body, the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), USA. The MIT Department also serves the academic needs of other engineering departments of the Jubail Industrial College by providing Man-agement and IT/Computing courses relevant to the academic needs of their AS and BS degree programs. Likewise, the department also provides courses tailored to the needs of the local industry and community.
