i am working in plant called polyethylene and mainly in Reactor side we reserve the raw materials injected it to the reactor after it pass from the purification area, then the final step it goes to finishing which is the last step of making polyethylene.i worked there us filed operator and us panel operator.
i work in opreation department our main work is to monitor the plant and to find out the proplame before it happen by observing the monitor in the C.C.R not to mention the reading that we do each 4 hour by each shift..
i work there in a segment calld slickline ... our main job is to inspect the well or to make sure the way inside the well is clear.and some time we had to help other segments in case there equipments...
this Institute that i was in. chevron was the main company supporting this Institute . the length of studying in spsp is 2 years the first one is about English, math IT,and health&safety. i finished this year in level 5 which is the hights level .... the second year is about practical and i learned * Maintaining Pumps and Aligning : I work with centrifugal pump and now I am in position to state the function of each major part, and I know where they fit in the pump. * Maintenance on Shafts and Couplings About shaft I learned that standard shaft is made different materials, also I know to identify a shaft’s critical areas and where shaft shoulder locate parts in their correct axial position. For couplings I learned about two parts rigid couplings and flexible couplings . * Lifting Equipment I know how lift the equipments with safety way which is include the signs and the standards weight for each of the connectors. * Maintaining Valves For valve I learned the different kind of valves and each part that It’s contain and how to dissemble it and assemble it . also we learned to make gasket so we can prevent any leaking in the valve.
