Duties
• Ensuring compliance with all required legislation, practices and relevant standards.
• Helping to establish and put in place key Health and Safety processes and methods.
• Managing the Safety team’s workload & prioritizing it according to risk/importance.
• Delivering front line safety related education & training to various members of staff.
• Driving a culture of safety on site to support the delivery of performance metrics.
• Performing root cause analysis for work related incident and accident investigations.
• Monitoring and assessing the work of third party contractors hired by the company.
• Walking around the workplace and actively looking for any hazards and threats.
• Educating new employees on the company’s emergency evacuation procedures.
• Making sure that work stations & seating are suitable for the individuals using them.
• Identifying risks and trends and then taking appropriate action to minimize, mitigate or eliminate them.
• Managing projects from conception, pre-production through to completion.
• Providing technical support to the project team and wider regional teams.
• Responsible for overseeing the review, initiation and execution of contracts.
• Managing project budgets and keeping costs down.
• Overseeing the maintenance of projects after completion.
• Responsible for the completion of all documentation.
• Producing Test Plans and reports.
• Prepare contract documentation for procurement services and materials.
• Carrying out effective client liaison for all projects undertaken.
• Liaising with customers on a regular basis to ensure the successful design and manufacture of products to agreed budgets and time frames.
