Ensures the quality implementation of all MWSPC Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. -Ensure staff and operation personnel are fully trained and competent in all areas in workplace safety, health hazards, use of protective equipment, and proper use of plant equipment to prevent employee injuries and unsafe procedures.
-Develop and provide technical and administrative direction on HSE issues, which will directly impact MWSPC objectives, operations, and the achievement of its mission and values.
-Interfaces with the MWSPC’s HSE&S Department on workforce safety issues. Coordinates training requirements with First Line Supervisors.
controls the shift operations in specific areas to ensure that all production activities are carried out safely and efficiently to meet the operational targets.
Assist Department management in planning and organizing resources (human & equipment) needed to deliver the departments objectives.
Assists in the development of departments KPI’s to ensure responsiveness to customers and to promote continuous improvement on a 24/7 basis..
Review and monitor all aspects of shift operations and coordinate closely with counterparts to ensure smooth operations and reliability of the plant functions.
Authorize work permits and ensure compliance with all lock-out/tag-out procedures.
Ensure all actions are taken for the safe shut-down/start-up of the plant in line with standard operating procedures.
Promotes a strong culture of safety and teamwork to ensure quality implementation of all MWSPC operational Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) guidelines, and the Continuous Improvement Process.

Post: Chemical Engineer in Drinking water Organic Pollutants Lab Monitoring
-Performing Analytical tests for drinking water to ensure organic Pollutants (THMs, Pesticides and herbicides, TOC, VOC and phenols) with acceptable limits according to the standard Methods of examination of water and waste water by Water Environmental Federation and ISO 17025.
-Using the following instruments:
- GC ECD trace 1310 from thermo scientific.
- HPLC photo diode array from Shimadzu
- GC ECD from Agilent with head space.
- GC FID from thermo quest.
- GC MS from perkinelmer.
- Manage all aspects of Operating Bromine Area units (Bromine, Hydrobromic acid and Calcium bromide) during the shift at JBC Safi Jordan.
-Direct use of facilities and personnel, and provides process troubleshooting.
-Insure products are produced safely and within budget cost, within quality specification and within environmental permit limits.
- Monitor and approve all safe work, hot work, LINE Opening, Confined space, LOTO and
Excavation permits in Bromine Area according to excellent working knowledge of current OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Safety & Health policies, General Industry 1910 standards.
-Supervision of the processing units (SA, PA, SOP, TSP, DCP, and CaCl2), equipments performance and the staff (Foremen, operators, drivers, helpers) during the shift.
-Following up troubles and preventive procedures with maintenance team, and preparing the work orders, isolation certificates, and work permits for maintenance activities.
-Maintain accurate shift records of events and operations, so that all critical information is concisely communicated between shifts.
-Making daily plant report, calculating raw material consumption and yield.
-Monitor and Operation production processes, utilities and equipments used in manufacturing of NCI Chemicals.
-Troubleshooting operational issues with production processes and equipments and cooperating with maintenance departments to solve any troubleshooting in the factory Plants.
-Oversee the initial production of new products, including scale-up runs, initial commercial production and finalizing of processing procedures
-.Assist in training of operating personnel on process and equipment operations.
Analytical Method Development and Validation of new products and line extensions.
-Analytical testing of new products and line extensions in support of internal stability programs.
- Operation for the following instruments:
1.HPLCs systemes:( TSP, Dionex, Lachrom and Shimadzu from Merck -Hitachi, Thermo lab and water).
2. U.V spectrophotometer (Beckmon & Prkin Elmir-Lamda 25).
3. Auto titration instrument (memo titor from mettler Tolido DL 53 Titrator).
4. I.R (Nicolet FT IR) in Identification.
5. PH & Conductivity meter & Refractrometer from ATAGO.
-Performing Water Analysis.
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in compounding inert and active ingredients to produce pharmaceutical products in Syrup, Suspension, Lotion, Cream, Gel, ointment and suppositories forms that to ensure quality of these Pharmaceutical Products is manufactured to meet production needs in accordance with SOPs and GMPs.. Determines processing methods necessary to achieve product of specified standard, using knowledge of chemical reactions and pharmaceutical processing methods and procedures. Performs other duties as described under supervisor.
-Chemical Industries Studies through College of Engineering such as Petroleum, Petrochemicals, Polymers, Cement, Soap & Detergents, Paints & Adhesives Production of sulfuric acid, Ammonia, Fertilizers and Chlorine.
