Ensure performance of the work in strict accordance with the plans and
specifications.
Assist in the review and forward comments on the contractor’s method
statement for execution of the works.
Attend site technical coordination meetings to discuss contractor (s)
submissions, shop drawings, material submittals and construction related
matters.
Inspect the work done by the contractor(s) to ascertain that work is executed in
accordance with the Contract Documents and accepted shop drawings.
Raise non-conformance Report (NCRs)/reports; site inspections notices (SINs)
identify quality deficiencies in conjunction with the Resident Engineer.
Checking that materials delivered to site are properly stored and
reportdiscrepancies.
Ensures that proper safety procedures are followed in co-operation with the
Health & Safety Engineer.
Coordinate with all other trade to ensure all works done without any
discrepancy.
Review the relevant As-Built drawings as submitted by Contractor and make
sure that all site conditions are properly addressed
Reviewing and editing shop drawings. Prepared by the contractor.
Inspecting the construction works to ensure compliance with the Contract
Documents and approved shop drawings and submittals.
Monitoring the Quality Assurance of Materials (Structural Concrete and Steel)
through constant lab testing and results analysis of concrete's compressive
strength and steel's tensile strength.
Closely monitor concrete pours and check continuously concrete materials
delivered to site, ensure all concrete tests are carried out as per contract
requirements.
Frequency checks formwork/shuttering systems and ensure quality, safety and
construct ability aspects are met.
