To find out the water main leaking point by using instruments such as :-
1). Leak Detector. 2). Ground Penetrating Radar. 3).Acoustic Pipe Locator.

Leak detection activities in all water distribution, related pipe network maintenance works such as to find the leaking point, mark with spray paint, taking of some necessary snaps and to attach the drawings to save the spending much times or to make jobs easier for the Technicians or Labours.
To inspections or survey individually to consumer service line or main line.
Making of new complaint about Meter leaking, Service Line Leaking as well as Main line leaking.
Notifies facility supervisors of equipment malfunctions;
Conducts physical surveys on all the properties in a district including the number of consumer (with or without meter) categories properties, report illegal connections, etc. that are reverent in establishment of the water consumption in a given district
Water service delivery and historical trending;
Breakage and confirm with and make sure and immediate action.
Well knowledge to use various types of communicator.
Making of daily and weekly report for management for record
Well knowledge to operate the GIS to getting the exact location and GIS coordinat
To confirm the exact leaking point whether from the pipe, socket, valve or ferrule leakage and to immediate forward to maintenance gang to save the wastage of water.
Works with Instrumentation and Control Technicians and Operations & Maintenance Technicians in troubleshooting equipment failures and water system operation difficulties.
Always ready to stand for shift or round o’ clock duties or incase of any Emergency.
To maintain a good co-ordinations with all concern Departments.
