* Conduct audits of technical projects, processes, and practices, to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.
* Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing engineering systems, operations, and controls, and identify any areas for improvement.
* Review technical project documentation, specifications, and plans to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Boiler House & Utilities Operations Superintendent
· Consistently reinforce safety amongst the operations center personnel, both by words and actions.
· Responsible for ensuring safety program reporting elements in the BHU area and in dealing with safety issues that are escalated.
· Responsible for investigative reporting of significant incidents, including near-misses.
· Provide key decision-making for non-routine situations beyond the authority of the shift supervisors.
· Manage the day-to-day activities of the operations area to maintain stability and maximize production while accommodating disturbances to maintain peak process efficiency (quantity and quality).
· Facilitate maintenance activities by ensuring area equipment is provided to maintenance in a suitable condition when required (on schedule), and negotiating a suitable balance with maintenance that does not negatively impact production capacity more than necessary.
· Maintain the process within the targeted boundaries via supervision and active participation with the crew.
· Ensure that all people within the BHU area have received the appropriate training and that training remains current.
· Identify aspects where Area training needs are required and need development and delivery.
· Managed BHU staff, providing leadership on their actions as well as coaching and performance management of both good and poor performance by individuals in his operations center.
· Facilitate and supports any applicable systems or initiatives as determined by Refinery or Operations Centre Management.
· Participate in the selection of new hires, in consultation with support staff.
· Actively engage in facilitating the improvements within his authority or escalating them to engineering as appropriate.
Department: Utilities Operations
Functional Duties:
-Coordinate with Production Manager to ensure that major operational needs and concerns are adequately addressed.
-Assist the Production Manager to ensure plans are in place and executed to meet plant goals.
-Drive individual employee career plans and personnel development plan by facilitating the process for employees.
-Coordinate operations and production activities to comply with EHS guidelines and overall safety regulations.
-Ensure implementation and effectiveness of global work processes, operating discipline, management systems,
enabling technologies and roles.
-Communicate with employees and create an environment that fosters team and individual empowerment.
-Promote the Six Sigma initiative within the department by developing awareness information sessions and coordinating necessary training workshops.
-Coach plant personnel and participate in meeting the business and plant goals (EH&S, quality, production, cost).
-Ensure the use of Most Effective Technology (MET) and put in place specific operating discipline requirements.
Managerial Duties:
-Manage and oversee the day-to-day work performed by direct staff.

Department: Utilities Operations
· Responsible for continuously monitoring the Plant’s critical streams to ensure balanced operation rates and optimum operations.
· Provide maintenance and troubleshooting assistance in the manufacturing processes.
· Liaise between operations control rooms during sequential start-ups, shutdowns and emergencies. Ensure clear guidelines are delivered to manage and reduce negative impact during interruptions or emergencies.
· Investigate quality defects for root cause and help improve manufacturing system efficiency.
· Monitor production processes and activities to ensure they are compliant with the EHS guidelines.
· Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment to ensure quality production and productivity.
· Relay production constraints to appropriate business and planning organization to provide accurate input to production plan.
· Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
· Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures.
· Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, policies and procedures for health, safety and environmental compliance.

Production planning and O&M Budget preparation.
Preparation of Business Plan Exhibit- SWOT analysis, Department initiatives & KPIs formulation.
Monitor financial performance V/S Budget, Recognize the out of range component & set action plan. Ensure ECRA compliance for KPIs computation, database posting and audit completion.
Review & validate the statistical reports for STGs & GTGs unit & consolidate departments KPIs.
Monitor Equipments performance for Boiler, turbine & auxiliaries and follow corrective action.
Involve with Saudi Energy efficiency Center (SEEC) for KPIs formulation.
Maintain all MIS reporting requirements like monthly performance, Environment & cost reports.
Manage Marafiq Fuel oil requirements with ARAMCO based on fuel forecast/demand.
Involve in settling ARAMCO fuel invoice with Finance within accepted deviation.
Familiarization with ARAMCO fuel agreement, ECRA KPI Manual and RC- Environmental regulations.
Responsible for STGs Operations for start-up, shutdown and normal operation in efficient & safe manner.
Conduct shift handover activities For-Operation, Isolation, Monitoring parameters & Operator handover.
Raise notifications via SAP & communicate with maintenance for execution according to priority.
Issue PTW & Safety Tags to carry out the required maintenance work & perform Electrical switching.
Supervise and participate in daily, weekly and monthly routine tests & changeover.
Respond to emergencies such as tripping, load run back and troubleshooting with
corrective action.
Monitor environment limits to ensure the compliance of RCER regulations and
standards.
Ensure all relevant safety compliance to guarantee employee safety and legislative
compliance
