- Measuring the proportion of heavy metals in waste-water samples using atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS) technique.
- Microscopic examination of sludge
- Microbiological testing either in drinking water or treated waste-water samples.

- Good practical knowledge in the parasitological and microbiological fields: Examination of stool, urine and semen as well as application of cultures using different
types of agar media.
- Using laminar flow cabinet for tissue culture procedures applied in the field of biological therapy targeted against solid tumors (Cancer immunology).
- Using modern technologies such as PCR, ELISA and flow cytometery.
