Detailed Job Responsibilities:
• Ensuring maximum customers' satisfaction while business dealing and routine exposure.
• Booking in deliveries and liaising with customers.
• Extensive follow up with customers from various production / manufacturing backgrounds throughout the U.A.E. getting full scale exposure to the shipping documentation like Bills of lading, L.C.s, C.O.O. certificates D./O. and gate passes etc. and catering to the clients' specific demands on the respective nature of their businesses.
• Communicating efficiently and effectively with the clients and responding to their requirements.
• Planning, Organizing and controlling the complete logistics function of the company.
• Managing a fleet of over 100 truck trailers by allocating them business trips.
• Planning routes and load scheduling for single, multi-drop deliveries.
• Booking sub-contractors and ensuring they deliver within agreed terms.
• Hand ling customers' Sea Freight / Air Freight / Land Freight inquiries and business development.
• Dubai Municipality clearance, FIRS, Customs Clearance, E-Mirsal 2 bill of entry preparation.
• Providing freight forwarding solutions to customers for shipping, import and export via sea.
• Offering collective service to customers for door to door shipping solutions.
• Making sales calls/visits to expand customer base.
• Complete Customs Clearance documentation via eMirsal2 Dubai customs.
• Ensuring to complete all documentation in regards to above business activities.
• Ensuring best possible customer service levels.
• Coordination with Government agencies like ADPC, ADAT etc. for necessary documentation and certifications.
• Looking after full import function to U.A.E. for transport vehicles.
• Communicating with the suppliers in Spain, U.S., Chinese and Swiss markets.

• Lead team of 06 members handling shipping services for dry bulk cargoes from handy-size to Pana-max volume being traded worldwide. Said cargo may contain grains, urea, fertilizers, coal, hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals, sugar, cement, minerals, Agri-products, steel, scrap, etc.
• Primarily managed planning and controlling for the group.
• Analyzed alternative cargo vessels and offered shipment charterers competitive freight rate on per metric tons basis.
• Fostered good working relations with cargo owners, charterers with vessels or ships and other third party dealing with the company by constant communication and coordination with the same.
• Kept abreast with vessels availability in different regions around the globe by constant communication with international ship brokers and owners.
• Coordinated with various load/discharge international ports through shipping agents to keep track of complete pertinent information like SW/FW draft, loading/discharging rate, methods of different cargoes on ports, ship arrival restrictions, estimate of port disbursement account or other related expenses, weather, ship congestion status at arrival, etc.
