Taking material quantity off as per the IFC drawings, Shop Drawings and verifying the BOQ in
coordination with the QS department, making sure that additional / unnecessary materials are not
ordered.
Preparing procurement cycle by gathering all the required documents (BOQ, Project Specifications
and Drawings).
Submitting Pre‐Qualification documents and the material submittals (with technical data sheets)
from the suppliers / manufacturers as per the client’s requirements.
Monitoring the preparation of Purchase requests, Comparison Sheets and Purchase Orders.
Monitoring the process of Comparison Sheets, ensuring to have a unified BOQ to have Apple‐to‐
Apple comparison.
Managing international logistics and custom clearances through SABER portal, issuing PCOC
(depending on HS Code), SCOC and ensuring to get the materials delivered as per the schedule.
Reducing Procurement costs up to 30% by creating competitive procurement process.
Understanding the technical requirements from the Purchase Request and negotiation with the
supplier technically and commercially to finalize the quotation.
Negotiate with the supplier regarding the payment terms, delivery period and the proposed
brands.
Keeping a complete record for all the inquiries floated with multiple suppliers/vendors.
Coordinating with the Accounts department, ensuring to release the payments on time and receive
the deliveries on time.
Finalized major Mechanical systems like Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting and ELV systems like FA, PA,
ACS, LCS, CCTV and improvised the handing over period.
Handling all the MEP Procurement for the site, by coordinating with the manufacturer and getting
the Pre‐Qualification approved from client.
Reviewing all the technical submittals and ensure to provide the best product (in terms of brand
quality, ex‐stock availability, price, delivery time and after‐sales service).
Preparing the comparison sheets for all the materials including payment terms, brands, delivery time
and the price difference.
Keeping a record for all the Purchase Orders received, Comparison Sheets approved and Purchase
Order released.
Following up with the supplier to ensure they deliver the materials as per agreed terms and
conditions to ensure there is no delay in the project progress.
Getting materials approved from the consultant in coordination with the supplier.
• Coordinate between the main contractor (Saudi Binladen Group - SBG) and the supervising consultant (Dar Al Handasa).
• Ensure the implementation of quality procedures and safety programs as per the client requirements on site.
• Raise WIR, MIR as per the site engineer request and coordinate with SBG to invite the consultant for inspection.
• Prepare all the documents for the work inspection as per the consultant’s requirements.
MBA in TQM (Total Quality Management) and Project Management.
