Responsibilities:
1. Report and liaise with Project Manager regarding the civil and structural aspects of the
project.
2. Responsible in preparing and maintaining site diaries on daily basis at the site.
3. Determines and report cases of non-conformance and issues immediate action order
or submit report.
4. Primarily adhere to company policies and procedures.
5. Assist the project manager in liaison with client and the contractor.
6. Records all significant events and relevant issue affecting the progress of the works
and coordinate with the senior engineer responsible.
7. Study construction documents (civil - structural and related discipline) in detail and
develop clear understanding of scope, details and responsibilities.
8. Responsible for the review, recommendation and approval of all civil and structural
Material submittals.
9. Responsible for the review and approval of all civil and structural shop-drawings
submittals.
10. Responsible for the review and approval of civil and structural works construction
method statements and its implementation.
11. Maintain a good understanding of the project priorities and programs.
12. Monitor the material incorporated in the work and check every delivery.
13. Assures incoming quality of received materials and verify in the approved material
submittals.
14. To coordinate with other disciplines as required on day-to-day basis or as set out by
the project requirements.
15. Maintains awareness of the project civil and structural specification drawings and design criteria.
16. Responsible for the accuracy of the works for reinforcement bars like Bar bending
schedule (BBS), cutting, splicing other related procedures set out by the codes and standards used on the project.
17. Responsible for checking the arrangement, procedures and installation of reinforcement for every structural members and parts.
18. Responsible for checking the accuracy of shuttering and concreting works.
