Responsible for the project controls department at Head Office, reporting to MD, managing wide range of EPC & construction projects in Oil/Gas, Power, & Civil Structures sectors.
Management includes project planning tracking & controls, contract administration, commercial management and follow-ups, invoicing negotiation and preparation.
Controls includes planning & scheduling, resource allocations, cost estimation, & project trends, the department includes a team of 3 planners & 7 Quantity surveyors.
Responsible for the supervision & cost estimation of the construction, maintenance, revamping, & shutdown works under frame contract with TOTAL E&P Yemen (Block-10), the type of works include well connections, pipeline installations, Tank & vessel cleaning painting & inspections, electrical & instrumentation installations, civil construction, NDT, piping works, supply & erection of scaffolds, supply of qualified manpower to client, assistance to commissioning & major shutdown works.
A member of the Core team to build a green field cement plant, from tendering stage till Commercial Production, as Client Representative for Planning, tracking, coordination & control of EPCC Activities to establish 4200 TPD Cement Plant, the project includes construction of 40MW DG Power Plant, 360 TPH Packing Plant, Mining Activities, Utilities, infrastructures & non-plant facilities.
Reporting to GM, responsible for planning & scheduling the EPCC of Cement project, tracking of project progress, review & integration of each MEIP contractor & subcontractor schedule, generation of Progress S-Curves, Daily, weekly, & monthly reporting, Progress presentations to Management and HSA Group Board of directors.
Managing local fabrication workshop to manufacture Solar Water Heaters, re-design & test the product for better thermal efficiency, and supervise the product installation at various locations.
Designed and Manufactured A Solar Still for Water Desalination, which entitled me to participate in MENAREC, Middle East and North Africa Renewable Energy Conference, hosted in Sana'a on April 2004, representing Sana'a University.
