 Provide local and cross border assistance for legal, provide proactive, timely and accurate support to all departments/functional and/or regional lines to ensure the business revenue goals are met and demonstrate cost consciousness, manage the review/update of all standard documentation to ensure adherence to relevant Citi policies and local law requirements, Escalate and communicate governance and franchise legal risk matters timely and appropriately and ensure follow-up and resolution, Drafting, amending and negotiating legal documentation, including standard documents to conform to applicable rules, regulations and laws, as well as to internal policies and procedures.Reviewing of customer related/Central Bank related communication and advising in respect of legal/regulatory matters pertaining to the intended launch of new banking product(s) and product programs, Supervising and management of ongoing litigation, potential litigation, dispute resolution, complaints and external counsel. Interaction with regulatory authorities, external counsels and industry bodies.

 Provides general legal support to all of the group entities across the regions (UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Egypt and Jordan), in accordance with the applicable laws in each region, Advise senior management across-functional project teams in (UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Egypt and Jordan) with regard to potential legal risks; ensure compliance with applicable laws across all aspects of Souq Group operations in the regions, Negotiate and draft a variety of commercial agreements including E commerce agreements, E payments and transactions, E Banking, Respond promptly to a wide range of legal requests from the Souq Group companies and affiliates, (Payfort, Cashu, Qexpress, Sukar).Responsible for coaching and training for the junior legal advisors. Responsible for new transactions across the region regarding any new merger and acquisition within the Group, starting with the due diligence process until the end of the deal, including any funding and new investment process.

Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to umniah on diverse legal issues impacting on its end to end operations & the documentation of such matters and also to the wider Batelco Group as required, Negotiating and drafting a wide variety of commercial agreements, Providing sound legal and commercial advice to Umniah across its end to end operations, Providing strategic direction and guidance on various regulatory and compliance matters affecting the company's business activities, Anticipating and identifying issues and risks, recommending potential solutions, monitoring quality of service of external service providers and appropriate billing of external counsel, working independent.

General corporate, Telecom, IT, Drafting agreements and modifying contracts in English and Arabic Including but not limited to Non-disclosure agreements, Non-compete agreements, Escrow agreements, Lease Contracts, Agency Contracts, License Contracts, Sale Contracts, MOU, FIDIC, Dealing with Corporate General Assembly's ordinary and extraordinary meetings and all related issues, corporate merger, drafting legal opinions.
