-Responsible for the organization and direction of
construction activities within assigned
single area, multi-area or multi discipline of the project.
-Reporting regularly to project manager regarding status of the project.
-Ensure that the assigned jobsite operations
are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule
within budget and quality standard.
-Assists subordinate construction engineers and superintendents in
interpreting design drawings and other technical documents.
-Supervise in preparation of construction
estimate, value engineering studies and schedules.
-Manage variation and changes to base estimate and ensures that
implications of changes are evaluated before finalizing the solution.
-Maintain strong relationship with project stakeholders and all other key project participants.
-Mentor of subordinate staff.
-Observe site safety and insurance procedures and advise corrective action in accordance with the standard.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Review and study design drawings and specifications to ensure correct technical execution of the work.
-Supervise work site activity in accordance with the design drawing, specifications, QA/QC policies and other related documents.
-Coordinate activities with other disciplines or areas and client's
resident representatives as instructed by construction management.
-Provide resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline and coordinate application of solutions.
-Monitor material procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of construction activities and schedule within the assigned discipline.
-Give updates to general manager regularly.
-Strong commitment to housekeeping, safety and environment.
