- Develop the municipal level sport development, animation, organization and coordination structures and community sports activities in accordance with the guidelines of the municipal council of sports
- As such, they are responsible for:
- Develop and propose related structures and sports clubs, sports development plan of the municipality and to ensure its implementation and evaluation
- Participate in the development of sports development plan of the province
- Ensure the promotion of sports activities at the commune
- Take all measures for the promotion of sport:
1. by different age groups and sex
2. Proximity in neighborhoods and villages
3. at the level of sectors in accordance with the objectives of the national sports development
4. coordinate programs and schedules of sporting events organized for the benefit of the citizens in the town.
